Pioneer Cdj-200 Error

Bought 2 cdj-200`s about a year ago, and they have worked perfectly until resently. One of the players wont accept cd`s anymore.. It pops up an error message in the display: E-8301
The other player works fine and accept the cd. I`ve tried with both original and burned cd`s with the same result.

Anyone else had the same problem? Is it a software problem or something? Is it easily fixed?

i had a similar problem with my cdj 100s and if this error happens with al your cd's or even your new cd's (maybe sometimes it will read but loading is very long) your laser is dirty or most lickey must be replaced... in my case i need a new laser, 160 euro

Hey mate.

I get this too with my pioneer 500's.

It is caused by a disk reading error, and this can be brought on in 2 ways...

1. The disk or lens is broke. From the sounds of it, its a lens issue. So check out Pioneer for that.

2. CD's burned with protection on either play blank or wont play due to copyright reasons.

Gutted to hear that though mate, hope you get it fixed asap!

okay maybe a dirty cdr I would call them and ask for the nearest repair center. Chances are you warranty isn't expired, so they can point you to official repair center for free.
