Dangerous Power

FAV TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

time to mash it

Tbh a couple nice tracks in there spoiled by terrible vocals! The whole CD is full of them.
The rest of the tracks were just total garbage...

It sucks having to listen to an artist album straight through... I wish it were cut per song...

Stupid downloader rant

I like Let Go, Eleven, Enemy, Closer, Sydney, Tracking Treasure Down.

best track for me is Sydney, the build-up is simply amazing here!

but some tracks don't work for me att all:

Dust in the Wind is so inharmonic, melody and vocals don't fit together.

Mass repeat is just to electro for me.

Not Enough is a downtempo track with male vocals. sounds to flat for me. armin and tiesto have included good downtempos on their albums, they were emotional, just the opposite of this.

New Path has also too much electro sound and the bass is so high that the vocals don't seam to fit in there. don't like the bassline here.

Dangerous Power sounds like Tracking Treasure Down. I also don't like the effects in this track and the end of the song is very weird.

Nevertheless the album is not that bad, but I have expected a better one.

what would that be? Cause Gaybriel & Dreadful complained to the mods there were too many negative comments in a row or what?

rofl, thats like the most stuped reason. U can close this whole section if thats the reason... 80% are threads about releases not yet in the shops...

The comments were way too negative, thats all.

So deleting it and making another thread will help in depleting the amount of negative ire expressed toward the album? If the album fucking sucks, then the album fucking sucks, and people will continue to vocalize, or type out their discontent. And this album fucking sucks, so I postulate that this thread will be filled with a majority of likewise posts.

No, but i can see no other reason why it would have been deleted. At least no reason that makes much sense.

and why isnt http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&forumid=11&threadid=341229 deleted ?

And why arent all the other 150 threads about mp3 releases deleted?

...

Well, you're way off.

It was in fact deleted because of the title being taken directly from an illegally obtained promo copy of the album, it's happened before, and it'll happen again. Hell there's a whole sticky on the issue right here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...&threadid=68569

A moderator wouldn't delete a thread due to negative comments about a track, set, or album. If that were the case, then 99% of TA would be gone.

Do you think the mods have time to police every shit thread that gets made? Do you think that 24 hours a day there is someone in charge looking over every forum? If so, you're daft.

That thread wasn't deleted because it didn't draw attention or stay on the front page long enough to draw a mod's attention. The G&D album thread blew up quickly and stayed at the top of the page long enough to get the attention from a mod.

Fucks sake dude, think.

Edit: Congratulations, you're an even bigger idiot than I could ever possibly imagine. You win the prize.

Re: The Gabriel & Dresden Artist Album Thread

Alright, I gave the album another listen today in an honest effort to be fair and actually give a review instead of just writing it off as trash without any justification, but in lieu of reviewing each track, I'll just note some thoughts:

-Let Go: Molly's voice is really like nails on a chalkboard. I can't stand to hear it at any time, and this tune just reminds me more and more of TTD every time I hear it. The melodic line feels simplistic and uninspired, and the actual vocals/lyrics themselves are about as bad as I've heard in any dance music track.

Eleven: Dave and Josh clearly trying to cash in on the whole minimal/electro vibe that's running right now, and actually bringing in another producer to basically do it for them a la Markus' whole album. Too bad it apparently sounds like Scarlette can't produce either.

-Enemy: The only way I can describe this tune is that it sounds like Dave & Josh got high, went into the studio for an hour, walked out and said "That's probably good enough, let's go play video games."

-Mass Repeat: Haven't I heard this before? Oh yeah, every week for the last year when I listen to new electro or funky house releases on Beatport and DJDownload. Mass Repeat sounds Mass Produced.

Nothing need be said by anyone about TTD at this point...

Similar thoughts here, i really like Let Go, Eleven, Closer and Dangerous Power - and TTD too -. But maybe i expected a bit more from them, althought liking almost the 50 % of a new album is something doesnt happens too often nowadays. Even in compilations. My only big reproach is that Dangerous Power was much better when it was "Imagination" - with jess voice - . I will buy this for sure.

Come on, is like x(insert a quantity between 10000000 and 1000000000000 here) times better than the Digital Blonde album - the most overrated album ever - in terms of quality, production and everything you wants. Whats the problem then? That G&D are not the favourite artists of any of the l33tist people cause it is music that a lot of people enjoy and hey! Thats not possible for an l33tist, they just listen underground music till it grows and others starts to like. Then they move to other thing and hates everything they liked in the past. Really sad.
