hmmm... maybe?

i've always had a passion for the more soulful ish and it's nice to see there'll be more than a few deeper cats there along the techno goodness. louie vega, blaze, julius 'the mad thinker', etc. are personal faves who always rock it proper. those other heavywieghts in that lineup are certainly no joke. wow.

Usually doesn't start until Saturday...
at least the festival doesn't...
i'm sure there will be parties on Friday night though.

Most venues will be 18+ for after parties. The festival is all ages.

I will do a check to see if there are any 21+ after parties and make sure to list it on the DEMF thread udner Toronto Events I'm keeping track of.

We're having a house party at my place Friday night 'cause the pickings that night are slim. Working on getting tables, etc. and locals to spin in my basement - it's a good friend's birthday bash and our little mia familia's warmup for our favorite weekend in the D.

All the party info should be out by end of next week.

MUAH!

And he's playing an after party too. You get a nice 2 hour set during the day and then another 2-3 hours at a party.

I've never had problems with age limits in Detroit...the 18+ age limit have definatly been an advantage (although I'm now 21 so allowed to drink! Woo hoo! haha)

Excited about your party...hopefully I'll be able to come by!

Everyone must visit the Little Room at least once that weekend if you come to Detroit - you won't regret it.

And the party will be good, my friends are as nutty as you guys are and they're good times, always. Think of it as a smaller version of the TOTA BBQ shindig at Nat's Labor Day weekend.

Being with all you guys and gals and playing at that bbq at Nat's was one of the highlights of my summer! Such a nice evening! I wish I was still in town.

I miss you guys a lot.
