She's India's MASSIVE up and coming prog house dj! DJ PEARL!

This is India's great hope for progressive house! She has a great mentality, likes to spin vinyl and plays good tunes! Also, she can beatmatch and her sets always go places!

These are some flicks from a gig she played in dubai.. Keep an eye peeled in the future for her! Every set I have heard from her has been awesome! She can play deep soulful house, proggy stuff, and some electro edgier stuff. I saw her close a huuuge warehouse party with a gorgeous prog set- marvelous stuff!

Couple of the tunes she played at that gig:

1. Kinky Movement -GodSquad EP
2. Soda Inc. - Barcode
3. Halo & Atwater - Change
4. Dennis Ferrer - Son of Raw
5. Glow & Oliver Lang - You don't know

Unfortunately I wasn't there but I heard it went amazingly well! the Indian scene gets so little coverage across the world i feel somewhat like an ambassador for good sounds and good friends who are coming from down here! Expect to hear more from me about her and other amazing Indian talents the world needs to know about. Also, she's getting into the studio pretty soon, so it might not be long before we get a release of some sort...

rofl.. shes married! To indian MTV VJ and House music DJ Nikhil Chinapa, the main founder of Submerge- THE soure for house/trance music in India!

We just set up a forum over there a recently, it's really taking off, and I'm moderating it.

Haha, I'll do my best. She's been spinning for over 10 yeras now mainly in India and Dubai. Liveset recording isn't something that happens a whole lot over here, but will definetely see what I can find- She spinning tonight @ her submerge night. I'm spinning there next thursday .

Like I said earlier, this isnt the kind of scene that is really recording and bootlegging sets etc etc. I will try and score a couple, i know she has some old ones laying around- Most of you don't understand how underdeveloped the scene is here.. its nowhere near the same here as is in the rest of the world.
