That's great - 455 for UK, 479 for Finland

Posted by nutsan on May-04-2006 11:53:

yeah but they come from europe from that site and we on a different voltage so we can't use them out of the box
if u use them on converters does that make the warrenty void?

Posted by T-Soma on May-04-2006 12:13:

No switchable voltage?
That sucks, I thaught it was common for most pro audio equipment to have it.

Just incase you dont get a respone on these boards about the warrenty your best off sending an email to pioneer now.

sound control are really good. ask them to do price match and they ll knock off a lot. quote a magazine advert price and they wont beat it but give you wires or things like that to make up for it.

i got mine for 340 each and the guy threw in 40 worth of pro audio cables..

cheapest ive found are from here
http://www.instrumentpro.co.uk/P-PI...?source=froogle

shipped from the US will cost 607 altogether! thats pretty good, the shipping will take a while tho!

but im presuming id be getting a US model not a Uk one even though the website has a co.uk domain.

i wouldn't necessary order from outside EU, i'm pretty sure you'll have to pay tax and customs for it if it's from outside EU.

for 607 that does include customs taxes etc...

also i want the cdj200 for the accurate pitch, vinyl mode doesnt interest me in the slightest and thats the only feature that the cdj 800 has over the cdj 200.

done away with now i believe though!

Posted by nutsan on May-05-2006 09:12:

very true! but there are a couple of place still selling them. but lik ei said before the cdj 800 dont reli interest me. i want sumthin small and compact and the cdj 200 has that along with an amazingly accurate pitch.

soanyone gonna tellme the price they paid for theirs?

Posted by DJ Indus Creed on May-05-2006 20:45:

I have paid $325 for my CDJ-200. There are tonnes of stores in US from where you can order for that much. Let me know and i can list them for you.

That is less than 300 Euros. Maybe around 200 GBP.

Posted by nutsan on May-06-2006 10:25:

thats alot cheaper than here. im considering shipping sum over. mite prove to be quite expensive with shipping etc... im right in saying they dont have a voltage switch aren't i?

Yes you're right, there's one model for Europe (220v) and one for US (110v). One thing I don't know : does the warranty works for a US model when you leave in Europe ? Or do you have to send it back in US if you have a problem ?

Posted by nutsan on May-07-2006 18:15:

i still cant believe how much more we pay for some stuff over here. its such a swine about the differnt voltages but im sure a decent converter will see this rite. anyone know any decent ones? and the cost of them?

the warrenty thing may bea huge problem though its the only thing that make me kinda wanna buy them from here in the UK.
