[MEL] Earthcore PresentsTraincore - June 11

All aboard, Earthcore's Traincore Party is back on Sunday June 11, Queen's Birthday Public Holiday Eve! Yes foks, Earthcore are staging an off the rails, party on rails for 500 lucky partygoers!
Earthcore installs two 10K booming soundsystems, two disco dancefloors, martian death rays, thumplestein's beat, 500 of your closest friends and a kick ass line up of some of your favourite DJ talent for a night of unprecendented fun in your very own, specially modified, 90 year old train.
Your voyage starts at Spencer Street Station at 8.30pm, where the Earthcore train travels along one of the loveliest stretches of railway to the Macedon Ranges.
In the front carriage, the Psytrance Express takes you there and back with DJs Axiom, Gavin Martin, Redline and Thad Lester, while the back carriage, Loose Caboose gets a little dirty with Lectroland.com and friends, including DJs Elektra, Little Evil, Colonal Mustard vs Nic Nac and Brainstorm.
At Macedon you will emark to your very own Country Club for a few hours of dancing and DJs on solid ground. Special guest here is Rhythm and Spice who rocked Earthcore in the Park with his bhangra style Bollywood dreams set.
At 2am your train will return to Spencer Street Station, where the Traincore Recovery Party kicks on from till 7am at The Mercat Cross Hotel (opp Vic Markets). Hefty Output (live), Coomzy , Johny Mac and Suntribe rock the main floor, while Frantic present PUSH in the sideroom, their new electro/prog night with Kane, Nevin and Damon.
Traincore has everything you need for an off the rails night. Let's face it, Thomas the Tank Engine has never looked sexy or sounded so damn good!! You can write yourself into the histroy books with what promises to be the most unique party escape of the season!

Traincore boarding passes are strictly limited to 500. 1st release $66 + BF (100 only) SOLD OUT, 2nd release $77 + BF (100 only), Final release $88 + BF. Get tix online at www.earthcore.com.au or Ministry of Style Fitzroy now!
what an awesome idea
Its getting very mixed responses so I wanted to see what the TA's thought.
I like the way that people are trying different things, thinking outside the box if you will, over there.
I could see problems with things on the train like bar, toilets, emergency stuff, security, but apart from that I give you guys credit for trying to break the mould, push the boundaries, *insert cliche here*. It deserves to be supported. In fact unless you really didn't like the music, why wouldn't you go to somehting like this (or Flowtation) which is just really different.
Definitely not your normal night out.
Train just doesnt sound roomy enough :/
Might hit up the after party tho
im pretty sure theyve done em before...?
yes.. i remember people talking about a sea core as well?
Apple Core was my favourite
I'd love to goto this but its during the exam period!
interesting concept, dont think it would work well with psy tho

I see potential sweatbox? Maybe people get to experience the full concentration camp style train ride.
