well i dunno i could name my insperation sources but most of them are not like my own stuff at all. i just made a fine mix out of all and turned it into something (i think is) unique.

I'm also very interested in the album which is going to be released later on J00F.

The Fused mix is the best one I've heard so far, and honestly, there isn't any bad one.

Whirloop produces really good shit.

i know; i've had it for some time.

i just listened to your remix and, take no offense, but i prefer the original 10 times over. the original is cleaner, less layered and more unique. i think the old addage "Less is More" is very apt here. Although I can see how it might not be as club friendly as the remix. Is this why the remix is being released? Because it's not commercial enough? I'm just curious.

hmmm there was no real reason why i picked the remix instead of the original. i think maybe it was because it had more speed and the right mood to help finish the album in a nice way.

the old one is according to me more "jumpy" and not "flowing" like the remix, so maybe it was because of that i picked the remix instead.

according to them and Fleming we are "very close".

no set date has been told to me though. sorry.
maybe i should ask Fleming about it.


oh btw fun facts, i talked to Laurent V�ronnez about remixing a very special track of his, something wich he was quite positive to.

Yeah, I've also heard that it should be quite close. They announced future album releases on their promo mailinglist some time ago and yours was on the list. None of the album have showed up yet either (I think) so it doesn't feel they are holding yours specifically at least.

Oh, and hope you get to remix that track for Lolo. Should be an awesome combination

as far as I know the previous schedule for albums on J00F was:

1. Steve Birch
2. The Digital Blonde
3. Whirloop

since the first two are out now Whirloop will propably be out either late may or early june. june is also the date where the first 0.0dB release Fusion is getting a release.

...then hopefully Steves other 'Lucid Dreamer' album and Johns artist album later on in the year

I remember there was a thread about Whirloop a while back, glad to see this project is still alive and now signed! This is true progression of the trance sound... very fururistic intelligent trance.

And its actually trance too! Thats the most amazing part. Not tech, not psy, not prog... just epic style trance with new ideas rather than the same re-hashed formulas.

imo this album could top archipelago and synthology and every other trance album this year
