fallout and fallout 2

man! this forum was what was missing from TA Forums.

have any of you guys played fallout or fallout 2? they are the best RPG/turn based action games ever. it's a post apocolyptic era andyour trying to save your people from certain death. very very involving game. i suggest picking it up, since both are dirt cheap now. there's a third game coming out but i don't know anything about it.

Fallout 2 is a great game. I was really stuck in it for a while.
Never finished it My time ran out.... But i got some MAJOR guns and some partners to....it was just that there was a bug in the game so i coulnt enter that last Vault you know.....Vault 13 or whatever it was called....I got really mad!!!! ARG!

have you played Arcanum? Thats their latest game. Its kinda like fallout but more magik and stuff.....i dont like it really....w8ing for fallout 3 to come

fallout 3 looks pretty sweet. it's different though.. i think it's going to be realtime.. not turn based. you get to be a brotherhood of steel commander and kick the shit outta people.

i loved the second one, though. though i must admit i cheated a fair bit. it was all about travelling the desert and killing everyone you crossed paths with. well. the bad guys anyway.. my karma was 700 or something. heh.

I have fallout, I done exactly the same thing and slaughtered everyone I bumped into, and went into the towns and massacred the places, had a really bad karma, but only reason I decided to do this was I couldn't complete that church place because them robot things battered me, and I found the waterchip but whenever I headed back to the vault and walked towards the overseerer dude the game would always crash.

never played 1 or 2, but I played the fallout tactics multiplayer demo a year or so ago (i don't think people still play it) - it has to be my favorite demo of all time. I managed to obtain the full version - but it was terrrible - not like the demo - I trashed it after a week.

Fallout tactics and Fallout1 & 2 is a great different. Tactis sux and the both orginal games is totally awsome.

fallout 1 and 2 had a really clever story, with lots of interesting characters to meet and or kill. Both games are very buggy, so make sure to get the patches as well as the game. They are also quite dated, im sorry but turn based games suck, they are annoying as well as tedious. But if you like doing really evil things like assassinations, drug dealing, grave robbing and extortion then this is your game.

For an old-skool role playing game, i would probably go with Planescape Torment. One of the best games ever.
