This is for all you web designers out there trying to get your foot in the door. My company is looking for a graphics person (primary skills must be photoshop & flash). We are a Microsoft shop so we use ASP, ASP.NET but you don't need to know that as this position is not for application development but you should be fluent in Javascript, HTML & CSS. Recent grads are welcome, we are not focusing primarily on work experience so having a good portfolio will go a long way. Contract Position

Business Information Group, Canada�s largest publisher of trade magazines and directories, is seeking an individual for the contract position of Web Designer/Developer. The Web Development Team is currently comprised of 15 developers, programmers, and graphics people. Reporting to the Web Development Manager, the successful applicant�s primary responsibilities will be a combination of web design, HTML and CSS coding, and other web support.

Duties will include:
� Providing layout and design expertise for web products, applications, and ad campaigns
� HTML and CSS creation and editing of content
� Creating Flash ads and demos
� Programming support as required
� Ad management support
� Loading and posting of magazine content

Required Skills:
� Strong creative design skills in the web environment and an expert user of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
� Excellent CSS knowledge
� Familiar with user interface design principles
� Proficient with HTML and FrontPage or other editing software
� Familiarity with programming languages such as ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, and .NET is desirable
� Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment with multiple and changing priorities.
� Strong problem solving abilities
� Excellent communication skills
� Comfortable working in a team environment and able to work confidently in an independent capacity
� Strong desire to learn and develop skills
� Ability to learn quickly
� Attention to detail and dedication to quality work
