poorly thought out adds

The other day I drove past a truck that was owned by a company called "Sheetz". Thier slogan was "good food travels fast".
-Then I saw the new hasbro super soaker ooze gun... and well yeah we all know how great that looked in the adds.

now I saw these on myspace!

what is the world coming to? photo shop is barely even needed for these!

what other good ones have you seen or heard of recently?

and i have to agree there have been some shotty ads lately, i particularly can stand the stupid mercedes B Class Commercial, "the answer is B" poor marketing...but great marketing if intended to get on my nerves

those virgin mobile commercials over the christmas holidays were ridiculous, especially that one with the girl hissing after opening a gift...

cant think of anything else buggin me atm, but im sure i'll come up with more to complain about

The Minivan commercial where the mom is explaining to the kids about the exits, coloring books in the seat pockets and the movie that will be playing. Um, ya the MB commercials are stupid. but hey they work , I mean we are talking about them so they are effective. I'm sure I will think of more.

THose x-mas Virgin ad's- wierd as hell, but something was funny about that hissing...

No need to knock on Ben - he's not the brightest guy - AND - he was only doing what Flo-Jo and others in the Track world were doing, with the exception that the people around him fucked up in getting him caught. Canada being so 'righteous' made the guy look like a criminal, that whole fiasco wouldn't have happened were he running on the US team, I'm sure of that.

The drink mix commercial where the little girl slams the door on the poor boys face after taking his flowers. She then proceeds to dump it in order to mix the drink in the vase.

I dont know what they are trying to acheive but i dont find being mean to others to be cute, funny, or endearing. And if this is what sells then its a sad commentary on our state of affairs.
