Andre LeFort - May Promo Mix [Trance]

Latest monthly promotional mix is now online. Once again, a little late, due mostly to laziness induced by moving.

This mix is a much faster mix than usual, loads of great vocal tracks with a few of my favorites thrown in. The mix was inspired by Melanie (you know who you are...). As a side note, I have started mixing a bit differently, adjusting the EQ levels a lot more than I used to. For this reason, the mixes in the start of the set sound a little more rough than I would like, but it all falls into place near the end.

I'm after first listening and... wow... you show great mixing skills. I will try to listen to it again and focus on your work more. The tracklist is awesome. It's obvious you've spent much time on studying tracks for this mix. And I really felt the taste of summer when Vivagio came This track is OMFG! I can't get bored of it.
Unfortunately I experienced a couple of skips(?) in the mp3 (for example 14:50, 39:54). I can't say if it's my comp problem or your hardware maybe.

Thanks for the great comments, I love it when others can appreciate the effort I put into a mix. Thank you very much for the review and reply!

As for the skips, I fear it was my laptop during the recording. Looks like it might be time for a new laptop....

Great mix, I really enjoyed it. I loved the last song, Epos - Vivagio (Danjo & Styles Remix). Pure trance magic! Raver love! If they haven't already, I'm sure all the trance dj's around here will be shakin their rainbow colored dreads to this. Keep up the good work my friend.

I thought this set was average at best and the whole blame lies on the track selection. Personally there are a few tunes that I do like such as Hijack and Amsterdam. Of course you can't dismiss Air For Life because of its mass appeal so I could understand that fitting into this set, but the rest just didn't cut it for me. The feel I received from this set was bland and unenthusiastic. To make myself a little clearer, I don't hate your set, but I don't like it that much either. The best part I liked about your set would be the second half starting with the Hijack track and the great mixing skills. Anyways, have a good one and happy mixing .

One of my all time favourite tunes, if god made trance music...

As for your mix, contrary to the above comment I thought track selection was excellent and the flow kept going all the way through, nice mix, another to my trance collection me thinks.

To Stevie, regarding the track selection...I will admit this is definitely not the greatest track selection I have done, but I didn't plan out the set at all, so considering, I like to think it was decent. But thanks for the words!

To Ryarni, the DST-7 Mix of the Factoria track is KILLER. Love it, it speaks summer to me everytime I hear it. Glad you enjoyed the set!

To Mon-Soon and delicious Nick, glad you also enjoyed the mix. Nothing better than putting a smile on someone's face with a mix.

Once again, thanks to everyone, I value each and every comment. Hope to listen to sets posted by some of you.
