Olympics are here.........what do you want to see happen

2 Days from NOW............Salt Lake 2002 Olympics open

I would LIKE TO SEE
-Canada to win the double in hockey (gold in men's and women's ice hockey)
-Our speed skaters should rack up medals in short track and long track speed skating and jeremy weatherspoon and catriona le may doan should come home with gold.
-Have some canadians win other medals
-Win the men's snowboarding again.......we had the dope man win last time.

How knows........but one thing.......i do love the olympics and especially watching the ski jumping event.....that is sooooooo cool. So please feel free to rant and rave about any sport or any person.

Yep, I had a terrible forget.

Johan Mu�lleg and Iker Fernandez are number 1 in their sports. Iker in Snowboard and Johan in "Sky de fondo" (Excuse me: I don't know how it is said in English).

I'm going!!! not to compete, but I will be there!!! ITS GONNA BE FRIGEN AWESOME!!

oh woops, hahaha, my favorite event.. and I'm actually going to be seeing it! is arials (skiing) I hear some nice tricks are gonna be pulled this year!!

i want to see canada take gold.

Explain to me how Finland can possibly win gold? Depth in net is questionable at best and don't get me started on their depth at center.

Seriously though, I'm a little bit worried about Canada's chances in men's hockey. Most everybody on that team seems to be in a slump right now.

I should be a good tournament though.

Ok, Sweden is gonna kick both Canadas and esspecially Finlands asses in hockey
Ok we don�t have Forsberg... But hey, one man doesn�t do a team..
I just hope I get my TV repared in time for the Olympics or else I have to run over to friends places all the time

Hah, don't you folks remember what happened @ Nagano olympics. We kicked boths A$$, Canada's and also Sweden's, and we are ready to do it again .

Just watched some clips of the opening ceremonies.. some pretty cool pyro, especially with the olympic rings at the end..

anyway, I'm really hoping that Canada wins all the medals people are expecting them to win.. I think it was foolish for Canadians to have such high expectations, especially on the hockey team cuz frankly their chances of winning gold are tight

Only one thing matters and that's the Men's hockey team winning gold!

I best see some Terrorist actions!

i mean they invested a whole lotta money into security in SLCUtah

what do they have?

like face scanners, picking out potential threats amongst the crowd

I know some anti-terrorist teams will be there such as:
swat team, seal team 6, delta force, rainbow 6, GSG9, GIGN, NATO, National guard to name a few.

Id go to the olympics just to see some action and how they handle it

I hope they have a special on olypic secutiry on PBS soon or at least discovery channel

that's a sadistic thought.. i wouldn't want any terrorist action of any sort all of the past attacks on the Olympics were devastating and I don't want that stuff to happen to the ppl of Salt Lake, the athletes and everyone else over there.. i mean, if the Olympics came to Toronto for 2008, I wouldn't want peeps like you wishing we'd get attacked by terrorists just to see some "action"
