Life in 2006 thus far, full of changes, or normal?

Is it just me, or has 2006 (esp the last 2-3 months) been ripe with change? I want to use the word "dynamic" but the word "explosive" seems more appropriate.

I should specify MORE THAN usual, as we all know this shit happens on a regular basis.

- relationships
- people moving
- travel
- new baby's
- the economy
- careers

mine has been exploding.
been going to so many parties,
went on my first real trip (varadero),
starting a full time job,
my car hasa been receiving new parts which is a great start,
got to get a girl still

For me? Been relatively the same....

Seriously debating a career change but other than that...meh.

I knew 2006 would be a really heavy duty year for me and definitely the first year where I am taking serious steps towards my career change. So far I've been working my ass off and will until the end of this year at school, work (well not as much at work - hehe), and later this year, getting in my law school applications while completing my PR certificate at Ryerson.

2006 is the first year in many that i have known exactly what I want and had the motivation to keep working towards it.

2006 is surely full of change. esp. the last 3 months. wow....it sure is bittersweet!!

Year of the Great Es-cap-e to Colorado in mid-August
Three good friends getting married
Working 60 hours a week
Selling or getting rid of nearly 2/3 of what I own
Heading west even if I don't have a job
Old traditions dying out, new ones taking place

Yeah, I would call it a year for change. I'll let you know NYE 2006 what the full score is.

Ditto that - everything has been golden thus far. Only one unknown left to figure out and bah on worrying over things where the heart is concerned. It's a game of chance at that point anyways.

Looking back 2005 was a really bad year for me. Was with a girl that really fucked with my head. Moved back home after getting in physical fights with my roomates. And got Fired from my job.

2006 so far has been great. Although lots has changed in my life everything is on a good path.

The dynamic of my life (ie. how I balance school/friends/whatever) has changed in 2006, as has the dynamic of my group of friends. Whether it's for the better or not I have yet to find out, but hell, it's only May. I think it will benefit me, 2005 was kind of unproductive, so why not?

Change is the only REAL constant in life....embrace it, run with it, be impatient for it, be challenged by it, enjoy it...

It would be a boring world without it!

EXACTLY

Not all change can seem good at first but it's what makes life so dynamic - every bad part has a reason or a lesson to learn from it. So take what you can from it and keep going - getting stuck on that one rough patch can lead to your demise.

2006 is treating me like that kid that's chasing his soccer ball out into the middle of an intersection... right in front of a mack truck

interesting, for sure... hoping to get some of the 'good' interesting though!

the real problem is realizing that your outlook on life is all wrong.

So far this year has been really hectic for me! It has included: moving three times, "interesting" relationships, a tragic death of a dear friend, money problems, and family stuff. However, I know that things usually have a way of evening out....so I am sure that the rest of the year will be good to me

Exactly

I feel that thus far its been a really fun, but unproductive year. However, its given me direction in terms of how I want to finish it, and move on to the next, so even though its been changes, its only looking more so in the future.

So far it's the best, but also in a completely different way it is the worst.

Mostly best though, and it will get better. Much better.
