Update:
I've worked with the piano today, needs a little more work though, but I'm very happy with the result.
What do you think of it?
Also some other things is fixed.

Sounds good! Really nice atmosphere! But I think something is missing, its a bit empty, maybe the piano will complete it... Keep it up!

hey mate

nice kick. really deep and warm and bass is beautiful.

synth choice is also original and pleasing to the ears. the sound is a bit warmer than your usual style of master. its better imo.

percs are reletively standard but do the job nicely. the track is very rolling.

break - nice build down. real good. synths are great! i like the violin sound. and sweepy sounds. this makes me think im in an enchanted forest. bass coming back... working well.

beat is back - great lows.. real awsome sound. and minimal which is good. percs are introduced well. bassline is showing more. i can hear some mids on your bass i think.. they sound like they have been filtered out.. id allow them to shine through every now and then.. it sounds like they want to

overala this is your most technically great piece. warm clear sound and nice sound throughout.

good to see one of my fave producers here doing a real good job as usual matey.

rich - ps. a piano will work wonders for this.. chordy ones me thinks!

Thanks for the comments, glad you all like it.

I have updated the track (see first post)

Listening, pitty myspace player has really bad quality so I will try to avoid any mixdown comments, I like the feedback synth you use, it boost the athmosphere alot, the bass is not my cup of tea, I would use a deeper one though, main drums are fine, but I would try adding some background fx loops or only background drum loops to enchance the overeall drum sound.
Break is good, nice pads, they have good personalitie, I would use a sledege guitar for the breka instead the piano, but again it's only personal taste.
In overall, this is going pretty nice, athmospheres are really good, looking forward to the final version.
Kopi =o.

Cheers Kopi!
Some more, probably small delayed drums and effects are on the way. I know it needs alot more in the background.
I'm trying out one more melodyline too, but i dont think it's gonna be a guitar tho...

I really the intro, kinda funky with that bass. Great vibe when that it gets going. Is that sidechaining on the bassline? Sounds cool anyways.

The break in the middle is a bit sudden and unprepared, I think it could be made a bit smoother, like for example applying filtering to the percussion and kick to make it fade out.

Awesome track mate, sounds great

[myspace suck factor in place] nice kick. bass is real tight. nice pluck arp. good swishy feel to the track. a little bleepy and beepy at 2:10. that probably could improve. the percs are very good. i like the first break a lot! the way you handle rhythm and transition there is very good. ahhhhh this is more like it! great break. why not forget all the other crap and do this! i like the piano. i think you should go with it and replace the melody at 4:00 with the same melody but played with like a wooden flute soundfont. trip it out. the beat coming back in is very tight! very good song.
thanks for sharing!

btw you are very young and very white lol

Yea, I'm 19 years old, and it's been the winter up here
Thanks for a great review, good idea about the flute, gonna try it.
Sorry for the myspace player, gonna fix a sample here soon.

Drik: Glad you like it, The mixing is very rough atm.
I'm not using any sidechaining, i've just played with the attack.

Thanks!

Hey,

commenting as I listen...

you did a very good job on the percussion. There are many sounds grooving well together.
Cool introduction of the bass, which feels a little sluggish then. But it kinda fits the overall tone.
1:30 is great. Awesome percussion and nice ambience everywhere. At this point the tune is really "full". Great.
Still a good atmosphere. Judging just from the low quality online stream, the kick is solid, but could do with a little less oomph.
Now at the breakdown... still great atmosphere. And what a nice piano! Feels really distant and wide, yet it doesnt seem to get muddy. Great!
5:00 seems really good. The elements are perfectly balanced. Maybe the piano part could last longer, I really dig it!
Overall, a nice laid back with a great overall sound. There is nothing I could really criticize. Great job

The production side of things is really good. I think this song would sound a great deal better with a grungier bassline. Take a listen to some Markus Schulz stuff. I also felt the drop down could of been a little more imaginative, maybe change the echo on the piano, and add a little low end to it. Also your perc loops could do with a little upgrade, they sound a spot dated.

Hope this constructive critism helps.

If you get a chance, check out my thread in this forum.
Cheers

Listening. oh good what do hate myspace listening. But oh good what i do like this tune. The phat bassline =) clear drums and xylophonic sound you hnave adde. and piano was greast. because it played a importent part in the harmony of the track. keep it up m8. the flute and pads kills me. Very pro work on that. but i would buy this track if it was possible.

Cheers Snowave !

review after the 192 ya sent mate...:0)

nice intro. bass is warm and full. kick is lush but too bassy for your nice bass as we have discussed.

synths are faultless. original and clean. reminds me of the durango 95 mix of dutch force - deadline... in the sounds.

balance is very good. a good eq and master will make things more upfront imo.

break is lush very dreamy. i cant wait to rmx this!

piano is faultless.

overall i love this big styles. bas is my fave part.. but wait, the haunting sounds also take me in..

i await the wav's... i got too drunk to make a rmx pack or sychro.. will get it to ya tomorrow mate

im gonna go full fuckin blown with the break on my rmx. I cant wait!!!!!!!!!

keep it up mate. this issuperb stuff as i have already said!
