Nope...there was a thread like this like two months back....i'll have to look it up for you...

Posted by Spirit5 on May-10-2006 03:37:

Tracks that have a whispery sound to them...

No big deal, maybe not exactly the same, but that is what I think Demoted was looking for... Just felt like pointing it out...

How about "tracks with ethereal voices" that might be something a little more original...but I thought of it so...

Lol but make it your thread, i was only playin, else i'll just have to steal it and make another thread called "tracks with ethereal vocals" but I already have PLENTY of those, and some aren't even EDM...Sarah McLachlan and Enya are two that come to mind. Check out "Silent Sight" by Yvel & Tristan...

cool thanks

edit: I'm starting to think I can't rely on discogs.

And go to Beatport or AudioJelly or wherever and browse through stuff on their or "4DJsOnly.com" and you can hear the full stuff. No offense, but there are way to many of these threads like this, it's best to discover stuff on your own first and then if you can't find it, ask, because I can assure you there are MANY of tracks with whispery or "ethereal" voices...dating back to Gregorian Chants and the Baroque and Classical eras to today's singer-songwriters, rock, EDM, new age....etc

I've been to beatport before to listen to samples, as people have suggested it. half of the artists I search for on beatport return 0 results.

What artists are you looking for? AudioJelly has some stuff Beatport doesn't, there's also TrackItDown, DJDownload and Dance-Tunes as well. And of course a hell of a lot of vinyl stores online...

It's just that questions like these or similar seem very cliched throughout these forums, even though I'm still quite new to TA.
