Nüw Idol

Whats your thoughts about Nüw Idol. He's been in the buisness since early 90s and released numerous belter tunes. However he rarely gets any mention here around.

Check out his impressive discogaphy here.

I used to buy everything with his name on it in the late 90s. Most stuff from his label Well Wicked was really cool. Then he suddenly disapeared and I haven't seen him since. Is he still around, am I looking in the wrong places?

He looked like a hardcore crasher kid as well if I remember correctly. A special kind of guy

he sure looks like a pimped out club veteran

Yeah, just noticed the recent photos of him. Except for less hair he looks pretty much the same as he used to

Wü Maze is a tune and a half

I know he has a very good track on "sasha live at homelands 30-05-99", classic live set...

I'm accepting recomendations on this artist...

Wu Maze / Drimax Phenyl is his best release ever by far, but all of his earlier output on EAR and Zoom captures exactly what the inoffensive and commercialized clubland these days is so sorely lacking.

Can't say I've been too keen on his recent hard housy output though.

He wasn't really part of the project, he just co-produced two of their tracks, one of them being 1998.

Posted by dj_helen_k on May-11-2006 11:30:

all he did was produce the original mix of 98 in the studio and he didnt have anything todo with writing the track nor was he ever part of Binary Finary ..
