Did anyone here ever go to any old Hullabaloo events?
Ok this is going to sound like a REALLY weird question, but hear me out.
I need a favour.
Back in 1999 to about 2004, quite a few of these Hullabaloo Happy Hardcore (basicially) raves went on near Toronto.
Now, I'm not really too worried about the event itself, but rather a message board thats connected with it.
http://www.hulla.info/board/index.php?
I'm always in the search for old, rare livesets, and from doing websearches, I've discovered that one of the users on that board has a copy of John 00 Fleming - Live at Chocolate. This is an ultra rare set and this person is the only person I've ever found who has a copy of it.
Ordinarily I'd just join the board and email the guy from there. But registration is closed and has been for a few years. The board is still quite active though.
Just wondered if anyone on here is a member of that board. If so I'll have to ask a favour
But all I'd like to know for now is whether anyone on here is a member of that messageboard
Believe it or not I attended a hulla or two in my day and had forgotten about that message board but am a member.
I'll ask about your set for you.
What's the guys user name who has it?

Yes apparently it was recorded
Supposed to be a great set but literally this guy is the ONLY guy I know who has it. And I need this set for another trade for other rare stuff too, so its all a big confusing mess
Shanny -> PM
I was gonna say...ENTER JOSH!@
khlalallalallallal!!!
I have dozens of tapes from hullabaloo's I attended over the years but not this one. If you guys get a copy please let me know I'd love to hear it.
I had some great times during those parties.
btw: Hulla actually spand from 1997 to 2004. My first one was Funtopia 1 which was hulla 5 or 6.
Big Top was the first party I ever took my kid sister to. It will always be engrained in my mind as one of the most sketchy and super fun nights ever! We got soaked in the rain but danced all night together until the sun came up .
i haven't listened to any of this stuff in years. I just pulled out a tape and I must say as elementary as Happy hardcore is, it's almost impossible not to have a smile on your face while listening to it!
Very good memories comming back now.
now I'm even sadder that I was out of town for the last one.
Hulla who?
Oh HUllabaloo! ONly one word could bring back such good memories of parting before the guvy days!
