Piknic Electronik - MONTREAL '06 Schedule

Anyone who is yet to go to one of these is seriously missing out.... I am tempted to go check out Richie Hawtin and Magda. I'll post some pics from past events, but this is seriously one of the best party concepts i have EVER come across

It's a party that happens every weekend, at a park in MTL overlooking the waterfront. Kicks off around 1pm, and goes until the sunsets. Usually costs $5 to get in, and it is just such a great environment. Chillin out on a blanket on the grass, smokin' d00bs, toss the football around..... its just le awesome.

On a map its up... but really its more like downtown... Toronto at a higher elevation than Montreal

Piknic of labor day weekend is my fave event of the year and Barbara is playing the Sunday party again this year - it will be my 3rd year in a row and I wouldn't miss it!

Such an awesome venue


Last year it was in a different location at the parc due to the Green Day concert being in the usual spot. (Try getting the metro home with thousands of screaming punk teenagers after dancing and drinking in the sun for 8 hours!)

It was a really nice spot though - sooo many people.

Think, Cherry Beach parties on Sunday, but 100x better, with international talent, in a prettier location with a dance floor being under a pretty cool statue.

Two summers ago I used to go upto Montreal alot, Piknik was usually the highlight of going up (after seeing my BF who lived there :P).

PikNik then Overdose @ Parking then Stereo are prob my fave club/dance things in Montreal.

The flyer only goes til July I think...she is in September.
