U know what I'm talking about... can't get much cheesier than freestyle... confess, those of you who listen to it and you may or may not be sacrificed to our trance gods 
But seriously now, does anyone genuinely like it?
If I liked it, which I don't, I would never admit to it in here. Freestyle should be outlawed and any discussion of it should be forbidden from a trance lovers site.

nothing is worse than freestyle. theres one station here in the nyc area that plays it. every day at noon they have a request lunch hour and thats all they play. i dont know who calls up for that shit but they need to be shot in the head and hung out a window by their toes. i had to put up with that garbage at my last job cause the guy i worked with always played that nosense on his radio whenever we were at a job site. i cant stand freestyle. whenever i go to staten island thats all i hear. why? i dont know. i dont know whats the worst part about it. the lame lyrics, god awful beats, singing that sound like someones in a hallway, man no good comes from this music.
I can't imagine that there's so many members here and no one would admit to liking freestyle at one time. I think they're just afraid to admit it LOL.

I used to like freestyle, but I eventually grew out of it. My gf loves it, and I get so pissed off at her when she plays it in my presence...I think she does it on purpose, just to piss me off.

Download some stevie b (the originator of the stuff basically), or Joee etc. Even some Alexia maybe? Or Collage "I'll be loving you all my life, till my dying day is through, I'll be loving youuuuuuuuuuuuu forever...." ok I feel like puking rite about now...I don't really know other than that cause I never liked it to begin with. Ok no more talk of this garbage "genre" of shitty shitty shitty music, that just tries WAY too hard. I can't stand it. I'd rather listen to Ventolin a million times by Aphex Twin on FULL than listen to one freestyle song...lol.Later ppl.

i still sometimes listen to freestyle. Aren't there different kinds of freestyle as well? The kind I listen to is faster but I hear those 80's flashback ones and the beats are really slow. Hm. Anywas, freestyle reminds me of breakbeats.
Some of you are confusing Freestyle with Eurodance which are completely different.. heh

I know I will get flamed but I used to like it alot. I like it alot less now....nonetheless...the urge does hit me and despite its cheesiness...I will listen to some freestyle...primarily the older stufff from the 80s. Yes it reeks of the 80s but I love the 80s...far less complex times than we live in now and its sort of an escape for me. Different music makes me feel different things so why feel the same all the time
