Remember when i went to the Hospital in RI

so i am checking my mail today at home...and in the mail box came a letter from Providence Fire Department saying i OWE the $245 for an ambulance ride to the hospital from Club Metropolis.....remember i had to go cus i got too wasted at Tiesto....

I never heard of this...i actually hyave to pay this...before they loaded me in the ambulance i told them that i DID NOT want to go to the hospital...so they took me against my will...and is till have to pay....

thats like if a cab comes to your house and you tell the cabbie i dont need a ride then the cabbie drags you into the cab takes you 10 miles away and says that will be $40....would u pay??..NO...

so why do i have to pay $245 for this....has anyone heard this before...is this right or is a scam...LOL....

or compare it to this...its like if someone is robbing your house and the cops come and stop them...do the cops send u a bill for doing it....NO...so why does the fire department when they also get paid through taxes....i mean paying the hospital i can understand but not this.....dam i am broke..LOL

Just ignore and dont pay.. But make sure they dont have your SSN and they wont screw up your credit history.. Or better yet, just call them up, ask for manager and let your lungs loose... Or if u have insurance, have them cover the bill..

I had similar sotry once.. lost control of the vehicle, hit the speed limit sign and hit a tree..
3 months later, I got a bill from the city for $500 (for a new speed sign and a tree (which they never replaced)...
I just ignored the whole bill and they stopped bothering me..

WOW they charged you...thats insane...but since u didnt pay did it mess up your credit?????.....thats one thing i dont need....know what i mean..

i think they have my SSN though....i think...not sure...i was going to call them or write them a letter...i jus dont know if they will lemme go on this....personally i think its bullshit...i told that dam EMT that i didnt wanna go and he didnt listen...LOL...well now i am happy i threw-up on him...hahahahahahha...

well i guess i have to call them or write them a letter...i dunno...all i do know is i am broke and dont need this crap now....
i have too many more parties to get drunk at...LOL

If I were you I'd just pay it. I mean, they were just looking out for your safty. If you really can't afford it then thats up to you what u do, but that's not that much loot considering. When some bad stuffs happened to me, it was $800 for just the ambulance ride, never mind everything else. But i do have a friend that has been to the hospital like 3 times, and when the bill comes he never paid one of them. And it's true, they stopped buggin him, but i dunno about the messing up your credit part, because my friend that i am talking about didnt have and credit to begin with. I dunno, i know you'll make the right choice And remember, ya booze, ya looze! Hehe

My mom & I hit a tree goin 40. The tree fell on the hood, back of the car went on fire. My village sent us a bill for a grand for a new tree.

I think it is standard for them to charge for the ambulance ride. When i was at school one time the ambulance tried to give a ride to my friend who had to go to the hospital so we ran away and got someone else to give him a ride there to avoid the very expensive ambulance ride.
