1200 Micrograms - The Sixth Revelation

Was just playing around on the CDJ's tonight and was mixing 1200 Micrograms - The Sixth Revelation with another track.. pitched down to about 136-137 BPM.. and on my digital copy (purchased legally) at around the 4 mins mark (4 mins left) the BPM jumps to 142-143BPM.. does anyone else have a copy that does this? or does Beatport have a fucked up copy??

I wouldnt be surprised if it is Beatport. I've been having a fight with them the last few days and getting nowhere. Yes, they may be cheap, but the customer service is crap.

There are a few psy trance tracks that start off with one bpm, then speed up further into it.

I know Astrix - Beyond Senses does.

Imagine having a track that changed bpm very slowly over the course of the track.

138 bpm - 142 then back to 138 again then finishing on 142

just to piss the dj off.

psy trance is disorted music.

That's a great track!

I think it just naturally speeds up during the track, by the way

Astrix - the fourth revelation has about 4 bpm's beginning low and working up, I know it has a section at 100bpm, one at 130ish and then kicks into 145ish for the very end. doesn't detract from the fact it's well structured though.

It must have something to do with that compilation then.. i think there are 7-8 "revelations".. It's no big deal as long as I know its gonna happen, but does suck from a DJ's point of view.
