Hello! My Challenge ... You Liberals vs Rush Limbaugh - Have What It Takes?

OK...being i am not smart enough to debate u guys (Renegade, Opus, OCC, Cyrus, PKC etc etc) I challenge you.

I challenge you next Friday to call Rush Limbaugh's radio show between 12 and 3pm when he has open mic Friday's and debate him on how bad Bush is.

Limbaugh, unlike Hannity and Oreilly, allows his callers on Fridays to speak their minds and have a mini debate with him.

So you guys pick the topic that we can all agree on and you decide who calls.

Here are some good topics u guys love:

1. Wiretaps
2. WMD
3. Oil
4. Iran

but its up to you

For this challenge i will personally paypal the caller $50.

Have what it takes without the internet at your fingertips to fall back on?

Please take my challenge so Rush can make you look foolish.

So who has the courage?

It seems you felt you caught a neato idear here. As much as I need the $, I wonder why Limbaugh doesn't debate individuals in neutral territory outside his radio show? Not that he doesn't have a propensity for stretching the truth oh so slightly:

http://mediamatters.org/issues_topi...le/rushlimbaugh

Seriously, debating Limbaugh on his own show? Jesus, that's like asking you to debate Rhandi Rhodes on her show (whom I can't even stand).

Seriously, on Fridays its alot different.

He is not like other hosts and cuts people off or anything on Fridays...its an open mic day.

Even today while i was listening a caller was defending the people protesting the funerals of soldiers...he let them speak their mind but in the end destroyed their entire idea.

Are you a fraidy cat?

As much as I think you've got a good idea, don't you think it's a bit unfair to challenge a bunch of 20somethings who follow politics in their spare time to a debate with a radio show who does political research and debate as a profession?

That said, if anyone takes him up on the idea, let us know so that we can listen in and see how things go.

Absoulutly not!!!...you guys go on and on about how you are right and Bush is Hitler and blah blah blah....whats it worth if you cant voice your opinions on a bigger platform? Or is it you only voice them to people who arent as smart as you?

I will record it and place it as an MP3.

GhB...i will admit though...after that Marak thread, i have so much more respect for you. You going to Crobar tonight? I will be there.

Why, because I have no problem ripping on some kid that frequently flys out of the country for the sole purpose of exploiting foreign hookers who have no other options to make money? Also, his post on how to treat women was sickening. Additionally, the kid kept on making himself look worse every time he responded last month and in another thread last week in the midwest, so when he wanted assistance from us New Yorkers, I just wanted to make sure people knew who they were helping.

I'll probably be there. I don't think we've ever me, so just have Dani introduce us (or look at my girlfriend's avatar, since that's us)

So if he's more of an expert in politics, so much better read and versed, wouldn't it be safe to say that he's also probably right about his conservative views more often than not, due to his extensive knowledge and research?

What school of logic did you graduate from? Just because he's well read doesn't mean his views are right. There are tons of equally well read talk show hosts on the other side, too. Man, for someone who doesn't want to be personally insulted, you write some awfully dumb things in here.

Whiney liberal strikes again.

You are all afraid to take Tiesto's challenge, that is obvious.

I'd have to say;

Tiesto: 1

Liberal scaredy-cats: 0

Will you take the same challege to call an equally liberal talk show? Your logical leaps and bounds astound me. No wonder that no has any respect for you and your arguments on here, even the people who agree with you politically. You're like the annoying little tag-along that they use strictly for numbers.

It's funny how you see only what you want to see.

"Angry Liberal w/issues", IMHO.

But anyway, sure, pay me $50 and direct me where to go.

Posted by pkcRAISTLIN on May-13-2006 03:34:

this just reads like tiesto is tired of having his "arguments" thoroughly destroyed by those on the boards. "well, debate with my dad, he knows heaps and i bet he could out-debate you"

this is the dumbest thread in the PDD ive seen.

Sounds to me like you're naively passing up a chance to make $50!

...or...

Cleverly avoiding the likely-hood of looking bad on national radio.

how much do you think a long-distance call to the states would end up costing me my friend? hardly worth the trouble. and why would i care if i looked bad on yank radio?

radio shockjocks are also terribly manipulative on their programs. also, im more of a chess player. i like to sit and think. anywayz, your common right-wing ideas are easy to spit out and sound good on first examination (and are easily understood by the populace) whereas the left are more complicated and not suited to 5 mins between commercials

ive taken far more challenging & influential people to task than whats-his-name i assure you sure, most of them are dead and unable to respond, but thats hardly the point!

youre still my fave rightist nutter on here tho donny

Well, this is where Tiesto would have to be willing to foot the bill for that. I know you live on another continent...almost doesn't seem far enough way, but that's beside the point

But I wish you'd be a sport and put the $50 towards the phone bill, lol.

not to mention the fact that these bitches wouldn't have the balls to call the show . if they did there wouldn't be ONE SINGLE REPLY to this thread other than "you're on".

OCC has no one to blame but himself. In his posts he always comes accross as very intelligent.

So then he is immediatly considered to be a liberal.
