[Review] Chris Fortier & Dave Seaman @ Crobar

got in just before midnight, house being played SO LOUD in the reed room i was like

chris fortier was playing the main room and it just felt... well, empty! even tho it was half-full. got a lil more crowded as time past, dave seaman got on around 2:30 and thank god for that bc i was really considering leaving around around 1:30 the music was so terrible.

so anyway, dave was seriously 100x better than chris and had the crowd cheering here and there but the vibe still sucked. would have stayed longer as i was enjoying the music but the downside about the whole freeb4midnight is that you just wanna leave after 4-5 hours in the club you know?

ugh, crobar's crowd too..here's the recipe: 3 1/2 cups mashed FOBs doing the carwash dance, 2 1/4 cups watered down tourists & high school kiddies, 1 3/4 cups of lightly sauteed lee hottis, 1/3 cup minced weirdo men in their 40s and 50s, a pinch of suits, a dash of that one woman in her late 40s dancing like she was in Footloose for flavor and an optional tablespoon of thugs.

i saw a 2-3 suits utterly and embarrassingly wasted, one suit was literally chasing the other suit around in circles dick first on the main dance floor god that was so fucking funny..wish i could have taped it!)

highlight of the night: me and billy dancing with the FOB with the charlie brown shirt. after like 10 minutes of aerobic excercis consisting of arms and head flailing with absolutely not a smidgen of rhythm or rhyme, he stops me, shakes my hand and goes "TENK YOO!" and goes to the bar.

Wow. You're a funny one . The way you put it, now I understand why you hate Crobar so much heh. I wanted to go to this but had to work late. I'll have to catch Seaman around some other time. Ah well, at least you have other shows to look forward to ... and Ibiza

hey, at least i'm old enough to get into clubs like crobar you're so lucky they're don't card in ibiza..

we're getting a few NYTAs to come to ibiza, why dont u come too, Black? (as sveta calls you LOL.) last week of august, first week of september.
