Burnout (PS2) Worst game ever!

For xmas I got PS2 game Burnout. All magazines and websites said it was good and I thougt it would be. The graphics in it are poor and when you drive you cant even go the wrong way or the fake cars don't get damaged.
I took it back to the shop the next day so tell me what you thought of the game.
