Lost Ring in Guv May 13

Hey everybody. A friend of mine lost a ring (extremely important one!) beside one of the stages in the KH on saturday. If anybody knows anything about it, please help, any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Hi everybody, i'm new here!

Call the Guv to see if they have anything in the Lost&Found, but I gotta say, the chances are VERY slim.

How does one lose a ring anyway?

He was dancing on stage, and felt it fly off..I'm not really sure. Maybe it got caught with a glowstick or something..

If you are serious, i'll tell him to go look for it. If not - this is unfortunately not a good subject to laugh about, the ring was in the family for many years.

i'm sorry for ur friend, but rings that were "in the family for many years." shouldn't be worn in clubs

HA! gl trying to get anythin back from those degenerate pricks

side note...im still a lil pissed n bitter about getting my cell phone nicked there

The security were not only un-cooperative, but very rude. They let him stay and look for the ring only for 5 min or sth, then they told him to go. And also @ at entrace they took his knife and said they will give it back when he leaves. In the morning they all LAUGHED at him, saying that there was never guarantee that he will get anything back. I'm still angry remembering how the security was acting. :

no, it wasnt a trio...

it was a flip phone with camera.

i held it above my head for about 10 minutes - hoping somebody would see it. it was early in the night too ~1 am.

I know this isnt your point, but why does one need to bring a knife to a club? If I were that security guard, I wouldnt have given it back either

I'm guessing it was more of a souvenir, and he came from work with his backpack..

Regardless, i'm not surprised he didn't get it back. Bringing a knife to a club is never a good idea, and had i been one of the bouncers i probably wouldn't have returned it either.

But why then tell him that he will get it back?

Posted by VERTiG0 on May-15-2006 23:00:

What kind of moron brings a knife to a club? Did he honestly think that they wouldn't take it from him? Come on.

Posted by Beach420 on May-15-2006 23:22:

at decadence i lost a watch and my fav necklace. i was soooo pissed when i finally realized it. Note to self, never bring/wear anything to a club that u wont care to much when u walk outta the club the next morning and ur not wearing it

i wouldn't have let him in period...imo someone who's bringing a knife into a club has other things on their mind other than partying

Posted by Cosmic Fur on May-15-2006 23:36:

Depends on the knife.

When I lost my Swissy, I lost it because it was with my keys as a keychain and I totally forgot it was there, so it was confiscated by the bouncers.
