[Psytrance] Kenosis -Q.E.D., featuring TA members' tracks
Kenosis - Q.E.D.
genre - psytrance, hard progressive trance (e.g. JOOF-y)
bitrate - 192 kbps
length - 57 minutes
link: Kenosis - Q.E.D.
I made this one last week, and honestly I think it kicks the crap out of my other mixes, even "Quantum Tunneling" from last December (that got 47 replies). There's a lot of good psytrance being produced by TA members, so I included two of the best tracks I've found on TA in my mix. They fit like a glove.
Let me know what you think!
This is a one hour ride of full-on psytrance and hard progressive trance, starting with a remix of the classic "People Want to be Needed", gradually getting harder and more psychodelic, through the amazing "Third Time Lucky", "Xel'Naga", and "Tronika" and finishing with Jirah's new remix of BPC's "Alidade" and a blinding amateur goa trance track called "Bongladesh". Most of the tracks are very recent, though I included four of the best psytrance/hard prog. trance from 2005 on there. Be careful: this one has a ton of energy:
---Q.E.D.---
Quantum electrodynamics (QED) is a relativistic quantum field theory of electromagnetism. QED mathematically describes all phenomena involving electrically charged particles interacting by means of exchange by photons, whether the interaction is between light and matter or between two charged particles. It has been called "the jewel of physics" for its extremely accurate predictions of quantities like the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, and the Lamb shift of the energy levels of hydrogen.
Physically, QED describes charged particles (and their antiparticles) interacting with each other by the exchange of photons. The magnitude of these interactions can be computed using perturbation theory; these rather complex formulas have a remarkable pictorial representation as Feynman diagrams [1]. QED was the theory to which Feynman diagrams were first applied. These diagrams were invented on the basis of Lagrangian mechanics. Using a Feynman diagram, one decides every possible path between the start and end points. Each path is assigned a complex-valued probability amplitude, and the actual amplitude we observe is the sum of all amplitudes over all possible paths. Obviously, among all possible paths the ones with stationary phase contribute most (due to lack of destructive interference with some neighboring counter-phase paths) — this results in the stationary classical path between the two points.

This one's a little darker than Quantum Tunneling, which I prefer. I don't like The Digital Blonde, maybe that's why.
Some very good stuff near the end though.
Mixing is spot on, as always.
Keep up the good work
Listening Now..
-Trippy intro..
-First tune is great. Mixing has been perfect so far and I am at the 25min mark. This is a banging tune!
-This set has some serious driving force behind it.. even with some of the tunes pitched down, it still got serious momentum to explode (anticipates an explosion )...
-The short teardown at 28:30 is awesome.. love the synths that come in there, which tune would this be, I lost track.. haha......
-Explosion at the 34,35,36 min mark (Wizzy Noise track i think).. feels like the BPM increased a bit! Loving the set so far..
-Feels like a light drop in energy with the transistion to Ultravoice vs. Illumination.. Great tune though.. I see this drop in energy (when I say this drop, I mean by very little.. ) as the start of the massive rise to the end of the set
- Not feeling any climax to the end.. just rolling along.. haha.
Great set over all. Some smashing tunes throughout.. Wizzy Noise was the highlight for me (prolly wby I have that track as well). Much better than Quantum Tunnelling IMO (not that QT was bad by any means )
