Question Xbox Live Arcade New Content?

When the hell are we going to see some?

SF2 was supposed to go up in March - It's now May.

My 360 is getting no where near the use it should for $399.99

For you, if you haven't read yet:

Here's a quick n' dirty breakdown of the 18 Xbox Live Arcade games that were playable at Microsoft's after (media breifing) party:

* Cloning Clyde - indie platformer
* Contra - arcade port; Konami code works; diagonal shooting was spotty
* Defender - arcade port
* Frogger - arcade port
* Galaga - arcade port
* Heavy Weapon - indie side-scrolling tank shooter
* Lumines Live - like PSP version, but with downloadable videos
* Mutant Storm Empire - indie sequel with upgraded visuals; continuous levels; room-to-room (a la Smash TV)
* Pac-Man - arcade port
* RoboBlitz - indie title using Unreal Engine 3; build was unplayable unbearable
* Scramble - arcade port
* Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting - arcade port; controls (on gamepad) were inconsistent
* Small Arms - indie Smash Bros. ripoff
* Texas Hold 'Em - poker (without real money)
* Time Pilot - arcade port
* Totemball - indie camera-controlled musical platform adventure
* Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 - arcade port
* Uno - card game

A Microsoft representative told us that these titles should be available by the holiday season, with some seeing summer/fall releases. Street Fighter, Texas Hold 'Em, and Uno will represent the next available batch of XBL Arcade games and should be released in the coming weeks.

Thanks, and yeah I saw that over the weekend, but damn does that seem like a paltry showing...

And SF has been rumored to be showing up "in a few weeks" since the end of January...

This is exactly why I didn't drop nearly a grand on this thing to get fucked over.

I was going to say you would have really gotten fucked over if you paid a grand, but I saw that you're from Canada. We're they really that much up there?

I love it how they pointed out that the code in Contra still works

Lumines Live sounds awesome..but since I already own it on PSP im not sure it'll be worth the extra investment again.

that sounds bad. inconsistent controls on a fighting game spell distaster. hope they fix that shit.

Street Fighter II was released this week.

D-Pad is wonky, though.
