Metal Gear Solid Trilogy Fan Movie

I'm downloading it right now.
A Fan put together a whole movie of the 3 Metal Gear Solids. My guess is that its a cheap hollywood edit of cutscenes, moderate gameplay footage and some hidden additions.
hitting 7 gigs, but i've never played MGS3, so i'm anticipating it heavily.

Here's better news for you. Kojima has come out and said that there's a live action MSG in the works. They're searching for the right director and writer (luckily Uwe Boll has been ruled out - right away), at the moment.

Nice @ Uwe Boll being written off. The Metal Gear plot is so fkn complex though I dunno how they are gonna translate that into a movie.

I agree. This just was not meant to be a movie. No way it could translate well.

hehe, bole was the one who started the commotion about the MGS movie. He'd said he was interested in making one but the fans revolted and his went back into his cave.

needs more vampires

Yeah, I remember reading about that; People got really pissed off...

Uwe Boll is perhaps the worlds worst filmmaker.

i am guessin this will be based on MGS 1 ??

Posted by DjConfessions on May-18-2006 22:24:

the way hollywood is, it'll probably turn out to be Spy Hard 2

Posted by iammesol on May-19-2006 02:33:

Hayter ftw!!!

Posted by Bega on May-23-2006 03:25:

I think Hayter could pull it off with a bit of make up, some bulking up, and a scruffy beard + mullet.

Actually that has me wondering whether they will keep the mullet for the movie. I think I read somewhere that in choosing the looks for Raiden, they asked japanese schoolgirls what they thought of an ideal character to play as (way to go, that's using the target audience for ya) so they might change the way he looks slightly to appeal to a larger crowd I think.

Posted by stren on May-23-2006 07:08:

the mullet is crucial

if someone can tell us what they thought of it after watching, that'd be awesome. Damn if I want to watch 12 hours...yikes. Last time I did that was in a lotr marathon. Pretty sure I'm never doing that again.

i skimmed throuhg the first disc on WMP. seems like its just cutscenes. anyways, it took me 8 FUCKING HOURS to convert the FIRST disc to divx so i could watch it on my DVD player tonight.

I was told it was going to be personally edited (to the highest extent a fan could) with all required cinemas, crucial codecs, and gameplay elements. it just looks like cutscenes! that'll suck! 7 FUCKING GIGS. fuck, if its like that, i'll just burn the MGS3 discs

After seeing X-men 3 tonight I think Hugh Jackman would be a great Solid Snake.

perhaps, but his voice should be dubbed by Hayter

Posted by stren on Aug-09-2007 07:05:

I hear Christian Bale is rumoured to be snake. Hideo Kojima as an executive producer, and David Hayter might be involved too (probably screenplay, but i hope dubbing too) Anyways these are just rumours
