Dis Information?

What it is and what you need to know.

The problem is real and pointing it out is easy once you are aware of it.

Most will notice a trend in threads throughout forums, blogs, websites with certain individuals posting irrelevant information keeping the content away from the actual content so to say. This is a tactic used to spread mis information. Pay close attention and check to see what they are actually attacking, almost always mostly personal and never competent on the content.(DIS INFO)

This is what leads to threads being closed. The posting of off topic jargon and confusion of the audience is what is intended. It becomes dis information through this tactic. One can easily check to see for themselves that time and time again what the intent of these people are by learning their methods.

Chances are you will see this behaviour occur within this thread and I urge you to study what DIS INFO is and use this thread as a tool to raise awarness and combat it.

I offer some more links below to those who wish to learn on this very real problem. Program your minds to point it out and call it out when it is exposed, there is nothing positive for these actions on our earth. Thank you.

if youre concerned so much why dont you resurrect one of the old 9/11 threads that were here well before you were? and provided a helluva lot more content, argument & defence than you came close to doing.

this "disinformation" was just a tactic used to irritate you and get the thread closed, not because of some greater conspiracy or "confusion of the audiece", but coz people think youre full of shit. its like abusing a jehovah's witness so they'll fuck off your doorstep and leave you alone. dont flatter yourself.

Finally, I've been labled a victim. I can die a happy man. I just fell into some sort of trap that's totally and completely hidden to me and incomprehensible to someone bent on spreading misinformation devised by "them."

Yes or no only. Anything else will be an avoidance of the issue which is a diversion from the topic and just as well worn as disinformation or misinformation itself.

anyone that has any experience in government knows they are not nearly as capable as the tinfoil hat wearers would like to believe.

christ, at least trancer-x had some semblance of sanity. he was articulate and defended his arguments well. i at least had respect for his intellect and capability.

There is no content worth talking about in either of those threads that hasn't and isn't already discussed here in greater detail.

You still don't get what a debate actually is either. You post up a single issue that you want to talk about, state your reasoning for taking whatever stance on the issue you want while supporting it with evidence from a reliable source, and then defend your position by answereing questions that are brought up by others that don't agree with your argument. It's that simple. You still have yet to do it cause everytime someone says something other than praise for being shown the way you label them as a disinformation agent of the government and skirt the entire issue without giving a single shread of reason as to why you believe what you do.

I'm voting ban. Seriously, I know this is just a game(it has to be cause no one is really this stupid), and if this is all we're going to get it's not worth getting.

Cyrus King can actually present an idea and debate it. This person has yet to do anything more than present an idea that isn't even their own and then ignore direct questions about it.

Research into what? Credentials for what? What is your topic. You posted the definintion of something and then expected us to debate it. You also posted two links, one is basically just a site that sells books and has blogs about random events. The other is someones personal rantings about how the government employs secretive mind control agents. Which again is being used as proof for a definintion.

You didn't post an argument, therefore you have no topic to discuss. If you want to warn people about misinformation propagated by the government, post it in the COR. Don't post it here like it's some holy grail of information and then label everyone that doesn't listen to you as an agent of the government.

with the information age upon us it is no secret governments want to control the internet. why not hire a group specifically designed to debunk and spread dis information on the internet for their own gain?

In a totalitarian society, maybe your argument would hold water. However, in a free society where news is not reported from the top down, I find your thesis to be laughable at best. Particularly when you don't provide any factual evidence to back up your assertions. I think you read 1984 one too many times.

1. Yes, I do believe information is altered to meet the agendas of the person presenting the information. This is nothing new, and quite common among even the most trusted new channels. What's even more distrubing is the importance given to some articles of hardly any value while others of greater importance aren't reported. Such as Britney Spears making the front page cause she's pregnant, again. I certainly don't care, and I know there was more important news that day, yet Britney got all the attention.

2. The government obviously wants as much access to our lives as they can possibly obtain. Whether or not there are secret agents hired specifically to confuse people or remove information from the web is a matter of opinion. There is no way to prove this, as such an institution would be fiercly guarded.


I've been nothing but civil so far in comparison to what I could be doing.
