Roll Call: Dinner with Fran (Avikonen) at Korean BBQ

It might be late after 8, at the Yonge and Bloor location.

why is something like this considered an event and requires a roll call?
sounds more like something that happens amongst friends and should be left off the forum where individuals would contact each other by phone or email.

Jay, I think the intention was to open this up to any TA that might wish to attend and not just limit it to Fran's friends. FYI, we do stuff outside clubs too.

which means you guys should keep the organization of these outings private. contact each other through pm/email/phone/smoke signals. it is YOUR group of friends.. not all of tota's.

I remember the days on TOTA when all it took was an "I'm so bored" thread to get TAs off their asses and go out n do something. Everyone was automatically invited. Alas, those times have passed.

just an fyi, TA isn't solely a music-only board, i believe behind each name is an identity and i've been advocating this in the ny forums but there shouldn't be anything wrong with coordinating and organizing events outside of the club scene here on TA. I think it's rather close minded to consider these boards as a strictly music only community...it is just a common bond that we share but there are other interest in which we can all connect on. There's only one way to find that out... =)
