Hey,
Eric's one of the coolest guys I've ever met. He is soo modest to the fact that a) he created an entirely new dance b) that he is one of the best dancers I've ever seen c) is a walking show stopper.
Their video is a must if you want to learn how to liquid.
They went on tour last summer all over the US, it's good to see them get more noticed.
Have fun.
Tell him that Phil & Imri says Hi!
PAyce
People what is Liquid dancing? lol do they dance underwater or something
.
okay, a little outdated. what's liquid?
know it might be a dumb question, but hey! I bet U don't know what a "manea" is, do U? and I bet U that kind of music would drive you out of Earth
not that it be good
hyp
sorry....for those who dont know.....Liquid dancing is dancing while giving the illusion that you body as flows as if water is flowing through it....with waves going all over up and down in and out....some people use jus their hands while others use their entire body to create the illusion
tiesto that sounds cool as hell. do people have like competitions and shit like at hip hop clubs?
sorta like Michael Jackson.
Actualy I love liquid popping. I wish I saw it more around here. Sometimes I want to bust it out, but no one else around here does it.

PlastikE is real good at liquid dancing...and he started to get me in to it not to long ago...so here in a small town its cool because we're the only 2 people who do this form of dancing.
yea i love doing it....i am so happy i got this video though it showed me things i didnt know....
the guy who made it "LiquidPopEric" has a good quote about liquid....it goes like this
"you know you are good when you bug people out that are SOBER"...
lol lol thats so true.....
That ERA is dead in Toronto ... damn here we go again. It was cool at first when it was just the Orginal White Glove Crew (which started in 93 or 94) and Blue & Yellow bandz, but it was out of hand when the other colours came in and soon after 1000s upon 1000s of ravers were doing it. (In 1999 - 2000) Then all the liquid kids realize liquiding was lame and took of their gloves and stop doing it. *Its more of a reason to hate each other and snob out strangers* Nowadays it seem like the US are getting into it .. since their partyin' is getting more mainstream there. *They are going through what I call ... our 98 - 2000 scene*
*After awhile you'll noticed Liquid kids ... liquid the same patern over and over ... all night long and the only thing they do ... is bite each other stlyez*
Liquiding is cool if your an ELITE, but if you NOT good at it ... LORD HAVE MERCY UPON YOU. You look like the biggest retard with white gloves. Out of 1000s of liquid kids ... only a hand full have impressed me back in the days.
Now Liquid Pop doesn't really impress me or grabb my attention. I've seen tooooooooooo many Liquid Kids throught out the years.

Liquiding started to the UK years almost 10 years ago and then to Toronto shortly after. Honestly, if you were here in 99 to 2000 and saw how SNOBBY the liquids kids were in Toronto. Every beginner that starts liquiding at RAVES *Very small amount of ppl liquid at clubbs* would get made fun of and dissed up HARD. It was to the point were most of the Elites would walk up to you ... copy your moves and laugh at you ...RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE !!! PPL use to train at home on K or Shrums until they got to the point where they were 100% smooth to save themself from this ordeal. Thats why it's played out here and barley anyone does it now. Even from today ... hardly anyone wears Phat pants and baseball caps. Trance has a bigger turnout in mature crowds and for the RAVE side it's been pretty dead all this year. Only Jungle and FunkBreaks are only type of parties that are have big turnout in the rave scene. |

The Liquid Kids that did catch my attention were pretty solid and those were the only ones I gave respects to. LPE is very good from what I've seen. The one video he's liquiding (next to the arcade machine) was very impressive. Smooth, perfect transitions from one flow to another and perfect speed. Not to brag and all ... but I've always been eye opener at parties for my dancing. Due to my skillz from being a sponserd skater when I was 14. Back in the days ... alot of parties would install black lights everywhere for the liquid kids. Thats the main reason why they wore white gloves. |
guys, comon now wtf? what are we even arguing about?
Living in toronto and liquiding myself I can say that SOS2 has a point. It seems you guys have a diffenrence of opinion, but im not even sure as to what it is... lol
Trancewave: If I ever see you at a party, I'll liquid whicha!
Liquid popping sucks big time! I don't see no difference between Break Dance and liquid.
Trance music doesn't suit for Liquid so i'm not interested!!!
Instead at raves we have this ppl moving their arses with this incredible dance which i don't know the name of it. But i'm definetly sure its not Liquid cuz i've seen that Eric guy dancing on a video.
Does any1 knows the dance i'm talking about? and whats it called?
I know i'm not very informative about it but maybe some ppl will understand, its hard to describe.

I'm really tired of all this.
Besides I never do it unless I'm truly wrecked, then I don't care. I remember a time when I was at a club here and I can't remember what I took (a lot of everything really) but damn was it good....I was 'waving' for a good few hours LOL. I had almost every one on the dance floor that was around me coming up to me and shaking my hand going "you're absolutely crazy man!!" LOL, I could imagine now a lot of people got some good laffs in, but I didn't care I had an amazing time. One guy was REALLY messed up and came up to me and said that I was the best dancer he've ever seen (and he was being serious!!
) LOL...ah, yes good times. Anyways I couldn't stop dancing for 6 or 7 hours nonstop and friends kept coming up to me on the dance floor giving me water every half hour because they were worried that I would dehydrate.
SOS2 Galvatron......u keep saying Liquid was around in 1993...LOL but it started around 1995 at the Tunnel ...not in Canada....and i saw a kid like you once when i first started to Liquid...and i will admit i wasnt good then....but this kid pointed and laughed at me....and wouldnt quit it...so basically i bashed him in the jaw and kept dancing...he never laughed again/../././.and nowadays i can i am pretty good and i would NEVER laugh at anyone if they are just starting and trying new moves...but obviously u do...and that makes you a BIG FUCKING JERKOFF....
i want that new lpc video bad. when i get some money i'll order it.
i find it VERY helpful to watch the best dance. it kinda rubs off on me and find myself imitating and innovating their moves. if i lived in europe i would prolly suck ass.
btw is there ANYONE better than LiquidPopEric? that guy is inhuman.
