DJ Shah
Could someone please tell me more about him? Just dl a set by him on Solarstone's deep blue radio show. looks like a good tracklist!! Just thought does he have anything to do with Pedro Del Mar?
all I know is he did a remix of Carrera 2 with PDM
They both work as partners and bring out their show once every month: Mellomania.
Mellomania, as the name rightly suggests, very mellow, with more focus on the melody, which is the track's strength. Very nice sets.
Armin put him on ASOT 2006... hehe
Sunlounger - White Sand
Global Experience - Zanzibar

DJ Shah: small english guy ex-resident of Goodgreef, or am i thinking DJ Shan?

here you go
I find 'White Sand' and basically any tracks with tedious guitar melodies very boring.
It'd work OK without the beat as some kind of spanish guitar piece, but I just don't see what it has, other than a 4-floor beat, which makes it "trance".

Black Pearl - Bounty Island (DJ Shah's San Antonio Harbour Mix)
FTW!
is pedro del mar still playing Feel ?
yea him and pedro del mar have been teaming up for the longest time now doing those mellomania sets weekly... it was on sunshine live but now its somewhere else I think.. dj shah <-> global experience (with laruso) <-> sunlounger
anyway hes known for his mellow laid back exotic sounding trance tracklists,
lot of global expierence tracks have names of remote exotic places which I guess is that theme they wanna convey, madras, zanzibar, malaysia, dakar, san salvador
they also release 'mellomania' mix CDs every few months with the same kind of vibe.. theyre at vol 11 now I think
His Intuition Winter Festival set was pretty decent enough, some very nice tracks in there
Kosheen - Catch (Dj Shah Remix ??)

IMO
Yeah I was gonna mention Purple Mood - One Night In Tokyo. It's a collaboration between DJ Shah and DJ Cosmo if I remember correctly. Good tune, if a little over played.
I like everything he's released under the "Global Experience" alias. VERY melodic.
Hands down my favourite producer! Deserves a lot more recognition than he gets. Super nice guy from Germany.. he's on myspace if u wanna check him out. As already mentioned he has a bunch of different alias names. Black Pearl, Epos and Sunlounger being my favourite.
Make sure you check out:
Epos - Vivagio (Danjo & Styles Remix)
Black Pearl - Bounty Island (DJ Shah's San Antonio Harbour Mix)
DJ Shah - Who Will Find Me (Summer Sunset Mix)
3 of my favourite tunes of all time!
