Emotions

If you've spent much time around dogs then you know they are very expressive (both in terms of personality and emotions).

My question is do you think a cow for example has an emotional life similar to a dog's?

Only a cow has not been bred to express their emotions in a spectrum that humans can easily receive?

Yes, they do have an emotional life similar to that of a dog's (if, by that, you mean emotions that humans can understand).

a) Cows feel fear
b) Fear is an emotion
c) Therefore, cows feel emotions.

d) A person can perceive a cow's fear
b) Fear is an emotion
e) Therefore, humans can understand a bovine emotion.

a.2) Cows feel rage
b.2) Rage is an emotion
c) Therefore, cows feel emotions.

d.2) A person can perceive a cow's rage
b.2) Rage is an emotion
e) Therefore, humans can understand a bovine emotion.

Just a couple of examples I could think of

My mom grew up on a small farm where they had 1 cow, and she would give the most milk to my mom's mom.

Perhaps the cow's little way of trying to communicate
