hey does anyone know whether promise will be throwing the usual cherry beach parties this year ? and when ? thx

umm, for instance, if I want to throw my own Cherry Beach party how would I be able to do that?

I'd appreciate it if someone could help me answer the question!

Here's an email I just got today from the Promise people...

hi, David and Irving here.

We had a couple of things we wanted to pass on for this week.

Upcoming Promise Cherry Beach Sunday Afternoon Soundsystem
As we move towards our fifth summer down at Cherry Beach, the weather is getting warmer but the nights are still chilly so we anticipate getting underway at the end of May or beginning of June. We�ll be in touch with more closer to the start. As always, we welcome your input and participation. Let us know if you have any suggestions or interest in performing - djs, musicians, dancers, performers, artists - we love to mix it up and it�s all about fun and friends so anything can happen so let�s make it happen. Email us with your interest. We�re also looking for people to commit to helping with set up and through the day - it�s not always glamourous and it can be hard work - but it�s what brings the event together and your contribution will be significant. Give us one sunday of the summer. Email us about this too.

There really isn't a way they 'work' so to speak. Anyone can throw their own party at cherry beach provided you have a soundsystem. The only problem is it might get shut down if it goes late into the night.
