Dunno looping on CD1000

I want to use the cdj-1000 loop function to loop 1 track while both are mixed and playing out. In short my question is: is it possible to make a perfect loop on a track, meaning it remains beatmatched with other the whole way through?
If anyone knows of good ways to do this, would appreciate.

use your ears. if it needs adjusting then adjust using loop in/out adjust or just give it a nudge with the wheel

practice my young jedi

Think of your self as a drummer constructing the rhythm.
count 1-2-3-4 now instead of counting it tap 1-2-3-4.
Think of each quarter note (beat) you are taping as a moving target.
Your aim is to hit dead centre.
It is possible to achive that you just have to get the timing spot on on the fly.

You have to find a way to fill the space in time.
Sorry if this isn't making any sence LOL I am too tired.

do you reckon it is better to work with a longer sample(16beats) or short(4beats)?

Unreal, the thrills, they yield, until they kill, a million braincells!

Practice just like Freak wrote. I still havent perfected the skill yet myself tho Doing fine on shorter mixes tho.

yeah and even if you don't get it spot on, you can adjust the pitch of the loop
