ok I updated the track. finally I've finished the break (although I think I have some more small things to work on).

info: 2:11 mins, all parts of the track including the break (haven't finished the climax yet ). quality is 192kbps.

heya guys, it's been a while since I posted something here (mainly because of school)

anyway, just wanted you to listen and post your opinions about a new project i'm working on atm, called Exiled - an uplifting trance (137 bpm as far as I remember). I'm working on this one quite hard, and I think this is the one I'm finally gonna send out to djs/labels etc.

info: it's a 2:26 min preview of the intro + buildup til the break (sorry but I haven't finished the break + climax parts yet).
quality: 96kbps at the highest encoding mode.
file size: 1.6mb

i think its really good...
the kick sounds a bit ...well.. wrong...maybe thats the wrong word..but its just my opinion..
i like the in/.out effects as well
plus the sine sound makes me think there s a really good lead/synth coming in the finished version, especially the way it modulates at the end of the pattern..

please send me a pm when the final version is up...i definitely want to check it out

Good production, would like to hear the full works.

Kick smacks through too much in my opinion though and almost makes you wince after a while. Makes anotherwise beautiful track a little hard to listen to.

Hey man, liking the sound of this so far. Hard to give decent feedback on it because of the quality of the mp3, but from what I can hear its sounds pretty solid so far. Just the kinda thing im into, look forward to hearing more of this as it progresses

sweet filterwork.. squarelead works well ... but gets a bit monotonous but maybe I shouldnt complain.. lead changes in pretty unannounced, wich �s good in this case ! good work! like to hear more

Quality production.

I love the atmosphere in the beginning. Sounds very dark with subtle noises and building bassline. Gets me going! Kick seems to have a bit too much like distinction...but then again when do I know kicks! What do you use for the atmosphere and sweepish synths. I really like them.

Whole thing sounds very promising. Only thing I think could improve is the percussion. SEems to die out after everythign kicks in. Make the hits fatter and this would be awesome!

The mood of the melody doesn't fit the song. You buildup with a minor and make a melody that is major. It just doesn't seem to be part of the song imo. Lets see what others think.

yeah I've been thinking a lot about it.....its kinda like 60% / 40% (I think it fits / I'll change it). dunno...I'll see what others think about it. thanks mate.

edit: btw I changed some other things like that ride and the chords, added a top-layer bass synth and changed some fx's.
