June 13th - Ferry
June 14th - PVD
June 15th - Digweed

yes but our local Dj's pwn the shit out of almost any city in north america.Problem with this city is that most of the people doing the guest bookings have no fucking clue whats going on with the music these days.So many young talents that are about to blow up on the international scene that would work for small fees.
If we dont get sasha or digweed here before the end of the year im gonna start listening to fucking hip hop.

yeah man this is really pathetic, in 2006 the best booking to date was Sander Kleinenberg. I don't think clubs are doing much effort to bring good djs, or its a money problem.
The thing is aria was doing almost all the best bookings, and now that aria cant get packed anymore, they dont have money to bring these djs...

all the djs are comming over and over again, Deep Dish, i dont wanna see that name on a flyer again, they brought them soo many times that they converted to Deep Shit.
Montreal is boring now, i dont even wanna go out anymore fuck that !!!

but when its at a point where in huge events they only bring 1 name worth going for, it doesnt smell good.

If and when Cream happens should revive the little canyon were in right now
yeah, I've been peering at the western threads and noticed that too in my former hometown. Deep Dish and Carl Cox played a few times in 2005 but now the city's getting all sorts of prime bookings. Funny thing is, the venues in Vancouver are so-so and the djs only perform until 3am, local laws or lack of afterhours or something. Afterhours in Van is nonexistant and Montreal still has the massives. No comparison, scene-wise but the bookings have been lacking. The massives should be getting better bookings than IM, Oakenfold, Deep Dish ad nauseum and so on.
if i see on the SunDance line-up Deep Dish or Armin, i'll kill someone.

Vancouver's scene in general is nowhere near as good as Montreal's, but they always got the big names. We booked Above & Beyond at the night I used to co-run out there; was a sick night

montreal has slid so far into the tribal house abyss that there will never be solid bookings at after hours any more. they have become complacent with a rotation of the same 8 djs over and over and over and over again. it is the department of redundency department. Creativity is gone. Its very sad considering how it used to be when sona was around and aria was booking the best djs on earth every month. however in the year between sept 2005 and oct 2006 DISKHO has booked:

we are trying to revive the concept of booking solid artists and Montreal has been the only city in north america for most of these artists to be booked in.
