Depeche Fvckin Mode!
just got back from the show....wow. quite possibly the best concert Ive ever been to.
was anyone else there?
really good except there were 2 narks right next to me and they thought i was smoking pot so they kept staring at me and were generally being annoying.
Note to narks: dont go to a concert as a 45 year old couple and have the "wife" try and pull off a lame Kool Ade dye job and overdone makeup. Also having a flashlight is a giveaway
The concert was really good. Amazing lighting too! Just wish the crowd was a little more excited. The crowd vibe was really good at the end though
hehe you mustve been in my section (101 or 102). the crowd was nearly dead at the beggining but once the old hits kicked in everyone was into it. kickass show either way though... I was into it from the first track!

Just got home from the after-party at the Funhaus after the DM concert. No complaints, however I still had a better time during the December 1, 2005 probably based on the setlist and crowd (It all depends on what section of the crowd you're in). I was row 38 on the floors. Too damn tired to write a review so I won't. Here's what they played tonight as compared to the December 1st. show.
tonight's show (set 13)

rating 7.5/10
I definitely had a better time because of the super classics that were played on Decmber 1, 2005 and the AWESOME vibe.

As Dave is so famous for saying "We'll see you next time!"

i totally wanted to check this out

I was there, and I know Nick and Trigger went too.
T'was my 1st time seeing them live. I knew I was going to be a bit disappointed when I went online the day b4 the show and saw what they played in 'Set 1' 6 mos. ago and compared it to what they were playing recently. Also a bit bitter that I actually spent $100 for a concert (I've never even come close to paying this much for a concert ever). Was praying for a miracle to hear "Everything Counts" or "Policy of Truth", but no luck
. Their rendition of "Shake the Disease" was worth the price of my ticket alone, tho. I was finally able to remember the piano riff in my head this morning when I woke up- I've been trying to remember how it went ever since.
The video screens were amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching Dave's prancing around on stage.
Boo to jon jon's woman Katherine for having 2nd row seats.
