technics+SSL OR DNS 3500 + x1500

Hey guys,..I know how friendly you guys are to newbs :] so I was thinking you guys could give me some advice on a potential new setup.
Currently I have cdj100's with a djm 300 and I'm looking to upgrade, but Im debating weather I should go the turntable route and go with ssl or.. continue with cdjs and buy the denon s3500s and the dns x1500.

How about a DJM-800? I hate the DN-X1500.

Or, how about buying a separate effector?

djm 800 is so exspenisive, whats wrong with x1500?

I'd probably just get a decent two channel amp and leave the effects for the birds or get a seperate effector later on down the line.

As per getting SSL I say you purchase it and use it with your CDJs for the time being. Mixing on turntables is a little bit different and if you aren't sure you prefer mixing that way then I say stick to CD decks.

i'd buy the denon's. you already use cdj's, why change now? that, and if you play out at a gig, you have to lug your laptop and all the extra bullshit that comes with SSL. don't get me wrong, tech's are great, but i think you'd be better off sticking with a great pair of cdj's like the denon's. 3500s are a great choice.

i'd maybe buy a tech in the future to be able to record your vinyl to cd or whatever.

thanks guys for the advice. turntables are just so damn appealing though! but yeah I am used to mixing on cdjs and denons are sexy...
