Nice track.

Still can't help but feel that it needs an additional bass line or something but that could be just me.

The pads in the break sound really nice.

Good job.

Cheers

How's it goin Dave?

Thumping kick and bassline here. The breakdown lead and melody is very MIKE-ish sounding indeed, great choice of lead btw. Good track name too.
Good job dave you big Kangaroo loving ****!

Hey dude,
The build up is kinda messed up, the overall tune feels like an intro, there's not a good introduction of each element and the tune is pretty monotone, you keep making the same melodie over and over imo.
Before the pads, I would work out more the structure, the break appears to damn straight, it does not flow naturally for me.

I am avoiding to comment about mixdown because I am using Motel Pc crappy speakers.
In overall, I would only try to add mor emelodie,s to work out better the build up and overal structure.
Keep it up nigga .
Kopi =o.

Hey guys, thanks for the reviews.. Kopi.. I understand your frustrations on the lack of melodic content but that was on purpose. I did try the tune out with lots of different melodies, but it sounded best as I subtly introduced it in the intro and then kicked it back in to the break.. apologies that it wasn't to your liking, thanks for the lengthy review mate.

prolly the best sounding thing i've heard from you... kudos to the clean production. lead-in into the break is nice, i like the subtlety of it. breakdown is money, although i dunno if like your choice of synths for the pads, they sound a bit too bright, not warm enough to convey much emotion through the chords (nice chords you've set up btw). also the "lead" synth isn't strong enough... sounds a bit filtered and weak. make 'em stronger, give 'em prescence. perhaps something brighter.

rest of the production is sex with a pie, i'm impressed. perhaps a louder clap would drive it along better

sending to labels?

Better a late review than never...
Definitely your best track by far man! I love the intro, it's very moody and trancey (very M.I.K.Eish too), and the pad / reverb kick hit at 1:04 is awesome.
Breakdown is huge, the way the melody resolves itself is superb although the strings could be a little warmer in that section. What kills me though is the bassline progression, coming in with the pulsing pads - that's a top bassline dude.
Production wise is good, but the open hat sounds a little harsh, try finding those high frequencies that are being harsh and notching them. The snare in the rolls could use a bit more crack.
This is a really great track, I keep listening to it
