Smiley DJ Post your car stereosystem and homestereosystem here!

Well i've seen that alot of u are interested in cars.. Im a carnut
but im also a Dbholic...i love soundsystems and DB!!
and i have a pretty strong feeling that alot off you are too

I have built my system myself*im 17* and it's components are as follows:

2x MTX 12" basses in a 66 liter box wired to a MDS HC-200VT Audiophile Power amp
On the backshelf = MDS DA-5 Dynamic Audio mounted underneth.
The shelf = MDF board = Apolstred with grey cloth.

My front system is only MDS components
Mds Mt-6 tweeters and Mds coaxials..
i have a Clarion DXZ-818RMP headunit "can play burnd cd's"
and that is powering my front system
This headunit costed me a fortune..i had to work 2 months to get that!
I have a homemade circuitbreaker"dad"

I can't drive it but i can fuck with it My dad gave me all of that "exept the headunit" for my 18 birthday....in advance

Sad

What I used to have but some prick theif now enjoys:

Sony CDXM750 - flip down CD player w/ x-over, 3 sets of 4v preouts, 7 band equalizer, Digital signal processing etc.

Pair of Audiobahn 4x6 coaxials
Pair of JBL GTI 3 1/2 coaxials (fitting since the car is a VW GTI hehe)
Orion 222SX bridged mono
JBL 12" GT series sub (1)

People laughed at the setup...it bumped hard in the hatch and was stolen within a month. DAMNIT!

I have an all Sony home theatre system (200 Dics CD changer, DSP Dolby Prologic receiver). Never got around to getting the centre and surround speakers since I hardly listen to music at home (worked alot and by the time I got home fam was sleepin), not a problem now that I am hitting the unemployment line hah! But I did build a subwoofer using a 100watt PSB subwoofer amp and building a 1.5 cu ft sealed enclosure for a 12" Denon driver. Shakes the house but its kinda muddy not that tight...I gotta sort that out when I start working again...maybe I'll build a ported box for it or just sell it and use 10" drivers ( a pair)
