Heroes V - Who is playing it?

Now that the full version of this game is out, what do you all think of it? Who is playing it?

I'm picky these days and games no longer hold my interests for very long it seems. However Heroes V has me in its grip like no other game has been able to do in a long time. I just finished the first campaign and just started the 2nd one where you play as the demons. I loved Heroes II and III but hated IV. Hereos V to me has all the good things of Heroes III, my favorite, but so much more. For one, the graphics are to die. The artwork is second to none and the amount of detail and work they put into this game is really has to be seen. I've got it running in 1600x1200 with everything turned up as high as it will go. It runs smooth until the moments where I'm zoomed out and I'll pan a certain way where a ton of the world must be drawn. The battle scenes can sometimes be boring unless its going to be a close match but thankfully there is the quick combat option which I turn on and off frequently. The bottom line is, I love this game as much as I did II and III and can't wait to get back to playing it.

So what is your take?

I've read quite a lot of topics on the official HoMM forums, so I'm quite aware of all the possibilities. The whole skill-ability thing looks very intriguing to me. I think I'm gonna get this game soon, but my exams are coming up next week and I want to spend my time wisely, not on HoMMV

what is your GPU? I'm running 6600GT and the game isn't that smooth even on NORMAL settings :/

I'm using the eVGA 7600GT 256MB with an Intel Dual Core 3.0Ghz as my CPU. I'm able to run in 1600x1200 pretty maxed out with this setup. What CPU you running?

And let me ask you... I was so frustrated and about to commit suicide on the 4th level of campaign 2 where you play as the demons. Its the level where you start out and fight that elf guy that you later meet. Whenever I would meet him for the 2nd encounter, he would demolish me no matter what I did or how big my army was.

What was your strategy for beating that level? After putting like 8 hours into that level, starting over and over and tearing my nose off, I couldn't take it anymore and I had to use a trainer to get by that level. I feel I'm pretty good at these games so I was really upset with myself that I just couldn't figure it out.

I've just now started on Campaign 3 playing as the undead.
