Can someone help me?!
For the last week I have been getting a lot of messages identical to this:
domlrmfg says:
Hey u should see my live cam!
http://camazon.com/?r=cmz92340&s=register
See you then!
$(RANDCHARS)
The names change, and the address' change as well. I haven't clicked the link, and I can't imagine where my address was retrieved for this stupid place to spam me.
I am doubting it's a virus, but maybe I am wrong. Anyway, does anyone have any idea how I can get rid of these stupid messages?
You can't block a specific adress because they will constantly alter their send adresses. The only thing you can do is block all e-mails, except those from a specific list...which is quite a stupid solution. You can't really do anything, you're not the only one who has this problem :/
one day a long long time ago, a customer wrote a complaint about me cus i told her not to call another customer a bitch, especially since her child was around. about a month later, i was looking around in my boss' office and i found a folder called "customer complaints." There was an email from the lady with her email adress on there. So that night i went to a few casual porn sites and put her email in the "send me free porn" newsletter boxes.
you got something against free porn?
Looks like it's over some IM program. But yes, same thing applies...it's not a virus it's just spam. Can't do anything about it
I clicked the link and its safe, you can sign up for it.

depends if ur using webbased or an email app like outlook or thunderbird or something. if you're using an email app should be no problem.

Theresa, do you really want to import all your contacts?
I made a new account and I just added the people I wanted to add. Usually we have like 9 zillion contacts in our messengers that we either don't need, don't want, don't talk to, don't like anymore...
But I think all msn ids get spammed just like most email addies get spammed, nowadays. Just block and ignore. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.
I think everyone gets spam. It's part of doing the messenger/email thing...
isn't it?

I have never recieved spam like this before via MSN.
And it is very frequent, like... 3-4 a day, which is starting to get annoying.
Anyway, any easy methods to get people I want on my MSN over to a new account?
Ok.. I think there has been a misunderstanding.
I am getting MESSAGES ON MSN that are spam. This is not on my e-mail, this is actual MSN messages.
