-- Vst to Wav
Vst to Wav
I would like to know who actually know how to do a live recording from VST to wav in Cubase. I once read over at one site but i cant rem already.
What Im doing now is export the VST midi as wav and I import it back to Cubase. Is there any way of record the wav from VST?
Guidance, please.
Thanks
i know that you can do that in ableton, via the routing, but i never really tried in cubase, and why dont you like it the way your doing it, record it in midi and then when you totaly satisfied with it, after adding all kinds of effects and processing just bounce it down to audio and import it back to cubase. when in cubase, i mostly do it like that

Uhm.. dont really know what u mean, and i dont know how to do it in cubase.
Anyway, in Ableton live which i use.
1.) select the track with the Vst and midi file.
2.) Insert a Audio Track under/above, whatever u like.
3.) Click in the Audio track, Select "Audio From", Select the Midi track u want in the scroll menu and select it.
4.) Select "Montior In", Optional.
5.) Click the "Arm Session Recording" button on the Audio track (Its the rec button for the track) It spec. which track u want to record to.
6.) Then u click the "Global Record Button" ( The main record button ), then click play.
This is how i do it in Ableton Live, maybe it could help u in someway.
Cheers
