Eve

There's this new online multiplayer game called EVE and I need to know if anyone here has played it and how good is it? My friends keep kickin' my ass tellin' my download the free 15 day trial, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, and with WOW my computer lags a shitoad (or atleast it did when I had my gamer account active... maybe it's better now... or maybe it's worse now) But I just gotta know, is it worth it?

dude its 3 years old, have been playing it for 2, its ammasing as its always being inproved, way better then wow ima. anyway whats your comp specs?

Nice to see a veteran Eve player. Who is your character? I've been playing for a year. My corp is Slacker Industries.

How come everytime I ask someone who their Eve character is, it's always a hostile. I know of your corp, VC and your former alliance, Imperium. My corp and former alliance, Exuro Mortis (OSNAP), use to defend Delve while BoB was away in their little cross galaxy escapades. IMP likes to camp 1-SMEB late at night while everyone is asleep.

How's the fight going?

I've been playing Eve for a year. It can be fairly graphics intensive if you turn on all the effects. I've played it on a ATI 9200 and a P4 I bought 1.5 years ago. Nothing like the hardware you'll need for Battlefield 2 though.

Eve is great addictive fun if you got the time to devote to learning the complexities. Two weeks will give you a taste of Eve but to experience most it has to offer, you have to play for at least a few months in a decent corporation. If you like competition, adrenaline pumping PVPing, number crunching and freedom to do whatever you want, Eve is for you.

i'm also in slackers too with scott. i have been playing for almost a year and i'm enjoying it more now that i have a developed character and not sooooo noobish.
