so I love the ease of use of ipods, but i had to give my mini away since it wasn't mine to begin with

i'm looking at the ipods available and they kinda suck. 4 gig nanos are too small, and 30 gig ipod is too big, plus I don't need video.

i was thinking of getting a refubished ipod from the apple store, it comes with 1 year warranty but i hear refurbished ipods aren't a good idea to get.

is there other good mp3 players out there that are as good as ipods?

I have a 20 gig 3rd Gen refurbished ipod that has been fine. I've had this particular one for about a year, and I use it all the time. My battery life is still okay, but it has gone down (expected).

This isnt my first refurbished one either, I would recommend them.

i was looking around and can't find any decent mp3 players that compare to the ipod

so refurbished isn't bad eh? i don't like the color ipod, i might have to get the click wheel one.
