Hello Funky People,

First off, we would like to thank you once again for making MOVE 01 a truly unforgettable party (as you can see by the pictures above). And now, it is our pleasure to bring you the 2nd edition of MOVE this coming Friday @ Stereo.

It all starts @ Stereo-Bar where MtlNights will be hosting a special edition of �Dizzy on the Move� featuring none other than Dizzy resident Mighty Kat And Soulmeka/Soultech resident Dj Uzi. This will be a great warm up before you head up to the mainroom as the Dizzy crew bring there signature sound and vibe to Stereo-Bar and get everyone in the place jumpin!

Moving on to the Main Event � We have none other than San Francisco�s infamous John Howard as our special guest for the evening. Some of you are probably familiar with Mr. Howard but many are not. Why is that? John Howard holds the distinction of being, quite possibly, �the most famous DJ that no one's ever heard of�. His odd famous-yet-unknown status can be chalked up to his San Franciscan roots. The City by the Bay is notorious for its edgier-than-thou, art-before-business attitude, and Howard, as the quintessential S.F. DJ, is practically honor-bound to stay tightly wrapped in a cloak of anonymity. Nevertheless, anyone who's ever had a passion for house music has probably heard a set or two by Howard. Most have probably heard his San Francisco Sessions Vol2 on OM (Mark Farina Did Vol1) which is now a classic.

John has been playing in Montreal since 1994 at several early raves and soon after, clubs like Playground, Sona, Groove Society and more recently Circus and 1234. This will be John�s 3rd time gracing us @ Stereo and if you have yet to hear him play Stereo�Well�You know what they say�3rd times a charm . John, being an underground house dj will be completely in his element this Friday seeing as Stereo is the perfect room and soundsystem for him to flex his musical muscles. From deep and tribally west coast funk to chugging Chicago beats to acid tinged electro�ish cutz and beyond�John drops it all with his own unique style that has made him a crowd favorite from coast to coast and beyond. Playing alongside Mr. Howard will be MOVE residents Rob Brown, who has played with John several times over the years and Max Hebert. Both locals delivered the goods last time around and will deliver the goods this time around as well.

We then wrap things up in the bar for After 8 with none other than the lovely miss molly from metrotalent who took care of business at the mtlnights 4 year anniversary party at MOVE01 + a very special guest.

And remember�.Move is ALL ABOUT THE PARTY! We do not look at MOVE as just a "clubnight" - But more as a complete no holds barred bona fide party! A celebration of life, art, passion, friendship, dancing and freedom! But to be a little less "hippy'esque" - We just want you to come, let go, dance till you can't dance no mo - And have the time of your life on the dancefloor surrounded by friends and other kindred spirits - And hopefully...Take a few memories home with you that will last forever. It may sound a bit clich� - But in short, we want you to feel MOVED. Physically, spiritually...In any positive way imaginable.
