Soooo I was wondering if anyone has any insight as to how to create a snare like this:

Sunblind snare

I can hear that some noise was added. I think it's some form of a rimshot..hm. Anyone familiar with making snare sounds of that style? Thanks folks!

For one thing, it's got a high pass filter. It also sounds like he added some kind of high hat sample. A bit of bitcrushing, distortion, and it looks like you've got a snaredrum.
