quite a few big commercial sites only work with IE. so use IE for those sites.

how?

i have spybot but i ran it a few days ago, and deleted all the shit it found

yeah google works in ie

it's weird, it's selective with which websites work

edit: oh and some pictures just don't load at all...esp in myspace

there are many instances why this is happening . Could it be a cache problem ? Have you dumped your cache , and tried loading it again ? Sometimes that does the trick . Have you tried uninstalling and installing firefox again ? Maybe your computer is crapping out on you, and you don't know it yet .

Best case scenario is to uninstall firefox, and load it again ?

could it be a problem with your isp?

I dont think its cache related, becuase it happens in 2 differents browsers

maybe host file issues?

Start > Run > Paste "%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\" (without the quotes > there's a file called hosts, open it with notepad and paste here the contents of the file
