I'm done with the edm scene

After nearly six years of photographing all the big name dj's here in L.A. numerous times I decided to hang up the camera and move on. Most of you know me because I have photographed you guys countless times. But here on the forums you had no clue who I was.
I've had some great times and memorable nights but like all things must come to an end.
Take care and I apologies for not posting up pics.

My first event ever was Giant pres. Sasha At Circus. That's right before, no error there.

I left once. Even sold all my music.

But I came back and am pissed at all the good music I missed.

If I email you, will you tell me too?

Sometimes I wish I could say that I'm leaving the scene and actually doing it but if I did, I think I'd go insane. I need my weekly dose of EDM (music & dancing) to take away whatever stress I've accumulated throughout the week. I also get a nice cardio workout which I enjoy.

Good luck and if you feel the need to get alittle EDM dose here & there, don't hesitate. Music keeps the soul young & happy.

are you getting rid of your camera??? If so, PM me the details on u'r camera, I might want to purchase it

Posted by Milus99 on May-26-2006 01:15:

Just leaving the scene I will still continue to listen to the music. The environment is no good...I've come to the conclusion that it's all vanity.

I'm sorry not selling my camera. I haven't lost my passion for taking pictures just lost the passion for the scene. I have a new passion now, one that counts for eternity.

20d
16-35mm 2.8
24-70mm 2.8
580 ex flash

If you guys don't mind I would like to post some pics from the past...way back when some of you were still on Long Island in NY.

And no I'm not coming back.

Thank you again for all the memories.

Milus99 this is interesting...can you elaborate more on your philosophy on the edm environment/scene or why you see this way.

lol, I would say so! But then again, I've only met him inside avalon, and its kinda dark...

Posted by Milus99 on May-27-2006 00:56:

27 to be exact.

I'm actually in the process of writing a book about the edm scene. I have alot of stories to share.
Just a peek at what to expect...I got to pick up Armin Van Buuren from the airport on his first gig ever in LA.
And luftanza airline lost his luggage and he was scheduled to play that night.
We needed up going to a nearby record store called DMC records on melrose and borrower some records to play that night at the Mayan. But no one in attendance had any clue. That's why he is one of the best in the world at what he does. Super nice guy!!!
